Vargas drove in the fourth run with a single, thrown out at second.  Gladden suggested Vargas wasn't running too hard, thinking he had an easy double.  Not a good play, especially for a guy on the bubble.

After 4, Twins up 4-3.  Shaky first, but Nolasco has put down 10 in a row since the Jones and Snider HRs.

Arcia two-run bomb to center.  Povus and gladden described it as a nice short compact swing rather than completely swinging for the fences; they are pleased.

Looking at Game Day ... 3 up, 3 down. I was like big dog above ... a lengthened 7th inning stretch. (And the game wasn't televised on either side.) But I see Stauffer gave up a run in one inning of work. Hmmm. If they keep him ... well, that to me would be far worse than any of the other decisions, imho. (Unless he is strictly a mop up guy; but even then ...)
