Glen Perkins Has His Credit Card Number Stolen

Minnesota Twins' closer Glen Perkins has made over $9,000,000 to date according to Baseball-Reference.com. It stands to reason that he would have a large credit limit on his Visa card and could turn into one hell of a wild shopping spree if it fell into the wrong hands.

Turns out, some criminal mastermind was able to obtain the All Star pitcher's card digits and did go on a spree --- only to spend $20 at Wal-Mart and a buck-fiddy at a pop machine:

Isn't it Minnesota law that purchases above $20 with a credit card require ID? I seem to remember that from my retails days, might be why they could only get $20 from Walmart.

It might be but I can recall plenty of times when no one asked to check my ID on large purchases.

On the Internet, nobody knows you're not Glen Perkins.

On the internet, I am Glen Perkins. But the Glen Perkins with his zipper down on the mound. Or sometimes the All-Star Glen Perkins. Never the failed starter Perkins who almost talked his away out of Minnesota.

On the Internet, nobody knows you're not Glen Perkins.
