twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Let's string some hits together, we can't afford to waste pitching like this.
TwinsGuy55422 Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Come on guys, let's get a run. When we get pitching performances like this, especially from a guy who has been struggling, we have got to come through with some runs.
TwinsGuy55422 Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Come on Span, let's take advantage of the extra out this inning!
TwinsGuy55422 Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Carroll and Dozier have all 4 of our hits. Let's pick up the slack.
TwinsGuy55422 Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 2-4 hitters coming up in the 9th. Time for Willingham and Morneau to do some damage!
TwinsGuy55422 Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Nice line shot by the Hammer. Time for Justin to drive him in.
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Not pinch-running for Willingham.....I don't get it.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Is morneau's wrist hurting again? He has had some ugly swings.
TwinsGuy55422 Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Is morneau's wrist hurting again? He has had some ugly swings.Bremer just mentioned that it looked like he might have tweaked it an earlier at-bat.
TwinsGuy55422 Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Dang it. That was a pretty good poke by Plouffe, but it was not to be.
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 1-0 losses are the worst.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 doumit first pitch swinging after a walk, not good discipline, too bad, pitching got it done tonight.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Let's hope that Liriano can keep up the good pitching.

twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Bremer just mentioned that it looked like he might have tweaked it an earlier at-bat.He took a pretty good cut at that one he just hit foul of left field. Bremer was also calling 75 mph fastballs by Chen.
BD57 Verified Member Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Most frustrating sequence (for me): Dozier on 1st, Butera pops up the sacrifice bunt (one out), followed immediately by Dozier getting picked off (2 outs), followed by Carroll single. Do your jobs & Carroll drives Dozier in ... maybe we win, maybe we're still playing. Would like to see some of this fundamentally sound "Twins baseball" we keep hearing about. ....

TwinsGuy55422 Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 1-0 losses are the worst.Agreed. Nothing worse than not picking up your pitchers when they give you a great performance. 12-11 losses are frustrating in their own right, but at least in a game like you're not left saying if we only could have gotten a couple of runs.
