Ricky Nolasco Activated, Yohan Pino Optioned

The Twins announced via press release that RHP Ricky Nolasco was being reinstated from the Disabled List.

 

Yohan Pino has been optioned to AAA Rochester.

I liked Pino. He gave the Twins a chance to win in half his games. I think he would be outstanding in long relief.  I hope we will see him again soon.

Swarzak's ankle apparently healed pretty quickly. While it doesn't make much difference to me, this is what I thought would occur before Pino made his last start in Houston. He'll almost certainly be back at some point this year.

At this point I trust Pino more than Deduno.  Same age (30.)
