The score for the Kernels second game is switched around.

The Miracle lineup is pretty stacked... too bad they can't siphon some of those runs down to the Kernels. That lineup looks like it is going to struggle to score runs all year.

 

On another note, excited to see what Sunday's starters will do.

I'm loving the start Goodrum and Stuart Turner are having. That Miracle Lineup can be a nightmare for teams. If one man is struggling - there is always someone within the Lineup who can change the game with one swing. You know its going to be a fun season when your number #6 and #9 hitters are amongst the top in the league in RBI. One never knows

Shane, do you or anybody else know if there are guys in EST that are close enough developmentally to infuse that CR lineup with some more punch?

 

Clearly,with 4 OFer on the DL at Ft Myers, some of those guys will have to be moved down or released at some point. But I don't see much help in EST either (how close are Navaretto and Minier?). 8 position guys from the group that didn't perform well in E-Town last year are on the current CR roster. Looks like this level and E-Town could use a couple trades for some hitting prospects.

Seth: A minor nit pick--in your Rochester write up you mentioned Rochester as both a place where weather forced a postponement and where they will move too.

 

I was pleasantly surprised you named Brett Lee as your pitcher of the day--yes a solid performance continuing to get ground outs--but he didn't miss bats like he did last year--maybe cause he got staked to an 8 run lead.

There are some veteran outfielders in EST (Proctor, who has had knee issues), etc, but there isn't much. Navarreto and Minier have big offensive potential. Both young, and Minier still recovering from shoulder surgery.
