I'll be heading down soon ... will try to get to the ballpark at some point, but have several tennis games lined up that take precedence 

I’m also down here in the Fort at what was supposed to be a ball trip, Went to the Gopher game yesterday. Saw Rocco and his big floppy hat being chatted up by a rando outside the team store. Saw Mike Hermann wandering the concourse. That was the extent of our celebrity sightings. No activity anywhere else in the complex.

I miss those ribs at Michelbob's.

Update: on our way up to Orlando, about 20 minutes outside of Fort Myers on 31, drove past Babcock Ranch…. 5 minutes later was still driving past Babcock ranch… begged the question: “what is Babcock Ranch?” The place is huge and doesn’t look like a ranch at all.

so we lookes them up on the google and got a tour.

They claim to be the first fully solar powered community. Eco friendly, it was pretty cool. Definitely worth checking out, while you are visiting the Fort. A little weird… not gonna lie… but cool.

They are still selling initial builds of houses, so be prepared for the pitch.

My Mom and I drove around there a couple years ago. It used to be a really huge ranch, actual ranch, and now they have developed it into its own planned community with different neighborhoods. It's definitely worth a look around.

On a break while my kids are on a ride at Universal Studios, islands of adventure. Way better than Magic kingdom (circa 2019, not sure when Star Wars opens, but looking forward) Harry Potter world is loads of fun!

Ok, got to Marvel and Comic strip… I’m backing away from the “Better than Magic Kingdom” a bit…. half of Islands hasn’t been renovated since the park opened. But HP and Jurassic Park are awesome!
