  1. We disagree on Jeffers. But I understand why they'd keep Ryan thru the year.
  2. He's got to be coming back, imo, or he'd have retired with his friends. That said, I'm shocked they haven't announced he's back yet.
  3. I'm not sure I disagree about messaging, but I'm not sure anyone is buying tickets this year no matter what, other than an unreal run..
  4. Why do you even come in prospect threads? He's considered a top 30 prospect in all of baseball, give or take, and we shouldn't be excited?
  5. A top 100 prospect always makes the farm stronger. That's got to be the worst take you've ever posted. This is exactly how they got Ryan in the first place. Larnach is really valuable, but only to this team? How can he be super valuable then?
  6. I just think signing a catcher to that age is a bad idea, unless he's HOF material. I do think Lackey being in Minnesota plays a part in being comfortable with that for them.
  7. I'm dealing him to Houston for one of their 5-10 ranked prospects. I've been his biggest backer here, but they have plenty of OF options at this point, especially if Keaschell is one now.
  8. Looked at Tampa and NYY lists, and definitely prefer trading with Tampa for Jeffers, unless Yankees over pay....
  9. I'm interested to see fangraphs updates to Atlanta, as several guys are much improved. Frankly, I think the Twins keep both Ryans.....
  10. Thanks for all the awesome work this year! Not big on Timney, but I understand why they picked him. Other than him, Lackey, and Wachsmann, not sure I have an opinion, other than taking lots of pitchers makes sense. I hope they are faster at making some relief pitchers than they have been in the past.
  11. ATL and the Cubs seem like the teams that need Ryan, and have deep systems. If you're interested, check out their lists. It's possible, not likely, the twins deal both Ryans to nyy, but that would deplete the top of that system. So I doubt it.
