Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Rhett Bollinger just tweeted that Chattanooga reliever Adrian Salcedo has been suspended 80 games for testing positive for a banned a performance-enhancer and a stimulant. He has been pitching very well of late and had a strong showing at Twins big league camp this spring. I'm sure more information will be made available soon.

As for now, we now know why he had his "strong spring showing." Time to move on from yet another 8-year minor league vet and keep moving up some of the well-performing arms at 2 levels in A ball.
