  1. Where are you getting that from?? According to this, Belisle has allowed 4 of 17 inherited runners to score. Rogers has allowed 2 of 16 inherited runners to score. Pressly has allowed 1 of 12 to score. Duffey has allowed 6 of 19 inherited runners to score. Breslow has allowed 5 of 18 to score. And for reference, Andrew Miller has allowed 4 of 20 to score/
  2. I think Hildenberger is running out of gas.
  3. That is interesting. Most teams are roughly half way through their schedules after today. 7 teams - almost HALF the league - are within 2 games of even .500. So, essentially there is a 7 team race for the second wild card spot.
  4. Hildenberger in the 7th, Giminez in the 8th.
  5. The Astros of the 2000s had Bagwell and Biggio who earned the moniker the Killer B's. Perhaps the Twins should market Boshers, Belisle and Breslow that way. They kill the chances of victory.
  6. Maybe should have gone IBB there.
  7. I must have missed when Buxton posted a .400 obp in AAA in half a season.
  8. The Twins are responsible for a rainstorm that passed over Kansas City 2 months ago?
  9. And now the decision to not use Gee as the 26th man looms large. The only pitchers who would even be eligible to be brought in tomorrow are Justin Haley (who as far as I know hasn't even begun throwing) and Fernando Romero (who is pitching even as I type in AA). Nik Turley won't be eligible until Monday, if I counted days correctly. Breslow on Saturday the 8th. No one else before the break.
  10. The 26th man is one player eligible for both games. Teams cannot change the 26th man between games. Of course, nothing prevents other roster transactions between games. But in having Gee be the 26th man, he could pitch in either game. It's highly unlikely he (or anyone) would pitch in both. But Jorge is definitely only going to pitch in the one game.
  11. I think using Jorge as the 26th man tomorrow is poor roster management. He's only going to pitch in one of the games. It should have been Dillon Gee. Jorge could have been called up to replace someone else after game 1. Vargas perhaps. Then send him down after game two and bring up Granite or Garver for a week. It's unfortunate that Busenitz was sent down, but realistically unavoidable.
  12. I believe in his first appearance. He came into a tie game. Gave up a hit to Hosmer and walked Brandon Moss - both lefties. I really can't blame Molitor for not using him in high leverage, hell medium leverage, situations since then.
  13. Santana probably has to get this out to stay in.
  14. They aren't going to continue to let them tee off much longer.
  15. He's not getting outs. I would have to imagine there is stirring already.
  16. The Twins might have to get the pen up here.
  17. Well, that turned ugly quickly.
  18. Poor camera work. That is usually an easy call and I never even saw the ball on the replay.
  19. One would think that Castro, of all people, should know better than that.
  20. 20 pitches. Not what the Twins need with a double header tomorrow.
  21. Throw a double play ball here.
