  1. My money is on Escobar batting 1st or 2nd by the home opener.
  2. I think he meant the Twins would end up like the Donner party. My money's on Sano as the last one left and with a fork in his hand.
  3. It didn't say what to do with Canadian outlets. You guys still use those weird British ones right?
  4. I knew it. For those that don't want to take the time to read it, if you charge your phone too much the outlet will auto reverse the power intake and suck the power back out of your phone. To preserve battery life you should charge your battery to exactly 83% than quickly put it in a ziplock bag then wrap that in a piece if suede and stick it in the freezer until sunrise.
  5. I got 212. My biggest omission was Marty Cordova somehow. Failure to spell Buchanon (sic) and Tewksbery (sic) cost me and I gave up assuming I was wrong as opposed to correctly figuring I'm terrible at spelling.
  6. This is basically what I was trying to sum up in my first paragraph. For all his winning, he's still losing. Also, the polls may look good now for Sanders because he and Clinton are playing relatively nice. What happens to the polls if he's going to head-to-head against Trump who continually calls him a Communist? That word is going to turn off a lot of people who aren't smart enough to know the difference or too afraid to care. And there is absolutely no doubt that Trump and the republicans would drum up a BS Red Scare if Bernie won.
  7. I think this is last gasp stuff by Sanders. He's winning these primaries and it's still clearly not making a difference, he doesn't know what to do. He's also defensive after the Daily News article and is just swinging away with nothing to really aim at. However, the tone on the Democratic side is still very, very cordial comparatively. It's more friendly than Clinton/Obama 2012 and probably more friendly than most primaries in recent history that have been competitive. I will be surprised if when all is said and done, Bernie doesn't fully support Clinton. He probably has some young, new to the process voters who will be unjustly butt-hurt who will refuse to support Clinton and petition to get Sanders to run as an independent, but we probably should differentiate a Sanders voter from Sanders himself, I'm not going to hold his millennial supporters and THEIR rhetoric against him. I think this is going to end up looking like the speech from the Father-of-the-Bride at a wedding compared to what ever kind of toxic vomit ends up spewing from the Trump/Cruz train wreck.
  8. http://www.cnn.com/2016/04/07/politics/john-podesta-hillary-clinton-ufo/index.html Boom, Clinton (may) declassify Area 51 docs. Election over, how can you top that Mr Trump? Trump: I'm going to make the aliens pay to put a wall around their planet.
  9. I checked it out on IMDB and saw the titles of the comments down below. I couldn't help myself and interjected in one of them but then had to get out as it would have been a losing battle that would be fought until those 15-year-olds move out of mom's basement, presumably about when they turn 30. If anyone has seen a scientific study as to why this certain demographic hates/fears women so much, forward it my way. I can't imagine it's all because of the trope that they've never been and never will get laid.
  10. Why are you trying to make things worse?
  11. Just not for the ninth. Or tenth
  12. Awesome, I just got the kids to bed and finally got to turn the game on!
  13. I don't like thinking that bench guys are there in case a player misses a couple of games. You can call up Polanco, Bersford, Micheal, Mastroianni or Benson if you need a warm body for a few games. I am however much higher on Nunez than most, he was really solid offensively last year when used. Though if he isn't going to be used, and I can't think of a more ideal time than to pinch hit for Suzuki, then I'm not sure the manager and the GM are on the same page. I don't really think Ryan put together a 25-man thinking there wasn't a RH pinch hitter for his manager to use.
  14. Thanks for the insight Bob. For my money, I could care less about Stewart's personality, I do however care about his velocity. Looks like we are severely lacking on both fronts though. The Twins do seem to care about personality however, I'm not at all saying a surely attitude is causing a problem, but if it was, I'd expect the Twins to give fewer chances than to a guy with an attitude more inline with what we tend to picture for the Twins.
  15. Right, I'm not saying that's what happened in this case, but this team shouldn't be sacrificing outs for capable speedsters who should be able to advance all on their own. If Buxton, Santana or Dozier aren't able to steal a base with a good chance of success, that absolutely needs to be one of the first things this team has to fix, and really, it should have been fixed this spring.
  16. *** I know this will not be popular*** But if the lineup is right handed heavy and the bench is lacking a RH bat, it might be a good idea to move one of your starters to the bench more often, even if he's an above average hitter. Trevor Plouffe would probably be a pretty solid Four-corners bench guy. Sano to 3B or if there are still defensive concerns bring up Polanco. I think it should be considered if this team keeps finding itself in need of a right handed bench bat.
  17. I didn't get to see the play, but if the infielders were positioned where a bunt hit was a reasonable expectation, I'm not entirely bothered. Pinch running for Dozier is a bigger issue for me. The ultimate outcome for Dozier and Santana on 1st is probably the same 95% of the time, probably even higher. Meanwhile, if they do happen to score the game is merely tied, meaning a high likelihood of extra innings, in which case, obviously you'd rather have Dozier's bat than Santana's. They have to stop this pinch running for a guy on 1st nonsense if the guy getting removed is a vastly superior hitter. Also, whoever was on first should have stolen 2B. With a guy on 3B there's a good chance there would have been no throw, and then you can at least let them contemplate the idea of not giving Joe Mauer anything to hit and getting Sano to the plate. Though honestly, if we allow the players any early-season slack for being rusty, and I do, we should probably do the same for the manager.
  18. I was kidding, mostly. Just voicing my appreciation for Sherlock. Some plots can be a bit theatrical, but so is the production value, in a good way.
  19. There is some potential with the rotation, but the big club really, really needs one of Gonsalves, Jay or Stewart to figure it out and become a top of the rotation guy. I'd think currently all of them are looked at as having ceilings of a mid-rotation guy; someone has to over-achieve, the MLB rotation just cannot continue to operate with number 4-5 guys, maybe a 3, throughout.
  20. For which one? I might actually be looking forward to Sherlock more.
  21. Well half the people down there want it to be the Texas National flag. Also half the people everywhere else.
  22. Quick learner. You'll have the ladies flicking to you in no time.
  23. Well can we confirm if it was manager induced or simply a rogue notion by Dozier?
