    I don't even want to send my non-top pitching prospects. The non-top prospects are currently what's making up the best part of the MLB bullpen and good parts of the rotation. Sorry for the harshness, but save their innings for the spring; send in the cannon fodder.

    I'm not sure about the NHL, but if MLB wants to survive, they need to do everything they can to emulate the NBA and NFL. Old school fans may not like it, but once enough of the old school fans are gone, there aren't currently enough 'new school' fans to keep the game afloat. And that's 100% on the owners who most want to maximize short term profits.

    They're both young, but neither are good outside of their records. Between the two of them, they have three good offensive players under the age of 30, and one of them is a platoon left hander.

    With or without Love, if the Vikings play like they did against SF and Houston, they'll kill the Packers, and quite possibly Jordan Love. But we're all Vikings fans, so we all know if there's one game they'll relapse, it would be this one.

    ****Moderator Note**** I am as frustrated with this season as anyone, but personal attacks, generalizations about other posters and finger pointing is exponentially more frustrating. We have a healthy number of posters who absolutely refuse to write anything other than blatant flaming, trolling, thread jacking and dwelling on one single pet topic. Being critical is completely different than being intentionally negative solely to try to spread your misery. This is Twins baseball. Every one of us has gone through crap seasons before yet a ton of people are acting like this is some new plague on society. It's baseball, not life altering world events, cool it with the attacks on each other. This is going to stop or there's going to be a hell of a lot of posting privileges temporarily paused.

    Green Bay week. Will they play Love? Obviously this is a big game for them, but if they put him in there, they'll be sweating it out all game. They've seen what the Vikings pass rush has done to the other QBs and if Love is even a bit hobbled....

    Honestly, I have to hand it to the broadcasters at the end of seasons like this. They're certainly as frustrated as the fans, yet have way more self control to bite their tongues and try to throw sugar on the spoonful of horse crap they're forced to feed everyone. I couldn't do it, even for a paycheck.

    They also signed Correa and extended Lopez. Gallo and those other mid level and lower free agents are the problem. They could have kept Sonny Gray or acquired a similar pitcher and basically kept the same payroll as last year; far less than 200M. I agree that the front office is being inefficient though, specifically with platooning. Two players to do one job? That's a bad use of roster space. One player to do one job and then you can build your bench to be more flexible and more productive.

    I don't disagree. I put most of the blame on ownership. Pulling the plug on spending on good MLB players is the biggest factor here. They took their foot off of the gas when it looked like this team had a shot at winning the race if they only floored it instead. But I am tired of Baldelli continually throwing the same things against the wall that he has already seen don't stick, instead of seeing if something new will. I mean, Wallner only has seven hits against left handers this year, but that is still incalculably a higher percentage than Margot has hits as a pinch hitter.
