I don't usually make fun of poor editing, but I thought this passage was radical. :-)

    Yes, Santana has a 4.17 ERA since coming to the Twins. ...Which is right in line with his career 4.18 ERA. That is who he is. That's who we gave the biggest free agent contract in Twins history to.

    I know, but I want to worry. Worrying about the Twins is comforting to me.

    I am jealous that their best pitching prospect looks like he has elite stuff, and our's looked like he only had good stuff. Why can't we have nice things?

    Do we have a 4th young starter in the minors that we can bring up to replace Hughes?

    Am I the only one watching so that I can see how Alex Meyer does when he comes in for Milone in the 5th inning?

    I agree. I took it more as "understanding" as opposed to "agreement". With the amount of money on the line, especially when several big seasons can net you a 100 million dollar (think about that!) contract, I'm amazed cheating isn't more rampant. That is an awfully big carrot to dangle in front of a guy who might just need a little more oomph to hit 30 jacks or 100 RBIs.

    I was looking ahead to see when the Twins might get to face a mediocre or bad starting pitcher this year.... then I remembered that everybody is a good pitcher nowadays. It's not 2004 any more. Good grief.

    Everyone knows that Sano is a bigger letdown right now than Park, correct? Pitchers are literally throwing him meatballs, dead-red, at 90-91 and he can't catch up to them.

    Who is the Twins' team leader? Like the guy who gives out the encouragement or the criticism, or gets people fired up, or organizes team meetings or get-togethers? From the roster, I mean?
