    A perfect example of what is wrong with baseball if you ‘have to’ trade 2 really good pitchers to be in contention. reason #276 why baseball is swirling the drain. do you know how many games I could see on tv this weekend? 1. do you know how many college football games I could see? 10+.

    I’m hoping the fan base interest crashing is used as leverage to lower the offer price the next time the pohlad$ put the team up for sale. after all, it’s going to take a tremendous amount of work and money to correct this imbecilic sequence of events.

    These same owners once had a payroll of 12 million dollars in the late 90s. and tried to contract the team. and right sized the budget i have to say….im done with the twins.

    I’m going to become a padres fan. They actually try to win. like all their other businesses, the pohlads will run the twins into the ground.

    They have zero sense. They have lost this fan base. now they’ll just take in revenue sharing money to offset their other business costs.

    Baseball is not healthy if a contract like that has to be moved for free (or minimal cost).

    With this situation... I now say good-bye to MLB. I do not care who the new owner is. I do not care what the Twins payroll is. I do not care who plays on the Twins or any other team. Baseball is broken. Big Pharma (Dodgers) has won. ChermesZ signing off.

    I think all that anger towards Rocco is frustration talking. this team is extremely frustrating. Everything about the twins this year have been frustrating….and I fear it’s not over yet.

    That’s because the leaders aren’t there. This lineup is severely hobbled without buxton and Correa.

    Kepler should have been on the DL earlier. Wasted a bench spot for too long. Been a historical problem for the twins…
