  1. So is this Molitor's way throwing in the towel for the night?
  2. How about the lost income tax revenue of two teams' payrolls for 2 games? If I remember correctly, each player/coach/trainer/etc. is taxed on a per game basis where the game is played. So, two less home games means fewer taxes collected. Still not a big deal, but it means the loss is wider than just the Target Field adjacent businesses.
  3. I have only one reason for hating this move ... Dillon Gee. We've already seen Dillon Gee once this year when he was named Nick Tepesch.
  4. "Ladies and gentleman ... we got him." - Derek Falvey
  5. Glad to see Trevor finally get the call. Pretty sure we've already seen Dillon Tepesch Rucinski pitch a few times this year so I'm less thrilled by that one.
  6. That would be my top choice, too, with Hughes to the 60-day a close second.
  7. So, Pressly to AAA to make room for Wilk to start game 1 and then Wilk back to AAA to make room for Busenitz? Or has the Busenitz call-up plan changed?
  8. And here we were worried that they wouldn't make a move to shore things up http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/10/19/article-2467721-18D9133500000578-79_634x286.jpg
  9. Let's let them talk him out of his LSU commitment before we take that step. We're all very sensitive right now and I'm not sure we could take it.
  10. Or Albers. Or Dean. Or Darnell. Or Wheeler.
  11. How many more of today's picks will be qualified with "probably will sign for under slot"? I'm trying to trust the process, but I'm struggling to see the vision so far.
  12. He really knows how to let the defense do the work for him ... my kind of guy. http://www.twincities.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/20111107_042125_rdm-Terry-Ryan.jpg?w=620
  13. 3 picks in the first 37?!?!?!?! No way they can screw this up. http://i0.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/facebook/000/022/702/hold_my_beer.jpg
  14. LaVelle said "boom," so I trust there will be a boom. It just appears to not be coming from the Wonder Twins.
  15. We need the old KFAN button bars, but which one would win? "Cowards, you pathetic cowards!" or "Enjoy the season!"
  16. I was hoping to look at MLB.com tonight and see "Twins draft elite baseball player." Instead, "Twins pick elite athlete." Who knew a screening of Cars 3 would be the highlight of my night?
  17. Can't wait to watch them dip to the high 180s to get that 3rd round pick tomorrow.
  18. Thanks, Mikey R. Intangibles are what I look for. FFS
  19. On the bright side, if they keep this up we won't have to worry about learning a ton of prospect names.
  20. Feels like the perfect metaphor for the night.
  21. The only "boom" I trust from that source is found in the sentence "boom, these are the best mozzarella sticks in Ft. Myers."
  22. Alrighty then ... https://www.perfectgame.org/players/playerprofile.aspx?ID=485400
  23. So, does this set them up to take great pitching at 35 and 37? Not sure if we're clear on that.
