    Okay, I refuse to call this a 'pre-season.' It's Spring Training. Here are the lineups: I was was trying to be creative but y'all can tilt your heads sideways, yes? I'm here. It's beautiful, sunny and 75 degrees. More later ... chatter on!

    Okay, let's step back a little and tone it down. I think there are good reasons for Hicks to go north with the Twins or to start the season in Rochester. Agree to disagree and keep the discourse civil and on track.

    If it were me, Kubel would be the odd man out. I'm not sure what 'promises' were made or implied, if any for sure, but he just hasn't done enough to justify bringing him north.

    He came into the ML game in the 7th and hit a double in the 8th. I'd be very surprised at this point if he wasn't our starting CFer.

    The outbound breeze is pretty strong. It took both those by Arcia and Escobar. My seat was pretty shady for the first 3 innings. Now coming into fu on sun. Wish I hD my SPF 50 today.

    Diamond got 2 SOs, then gave up a walk but the runner was caught stealing. Not a bad inning.

    Getting some hits but not getting them home. Diamond gave up a solo shot in the bottom of the 1st. We'll see what he does this inning.

    It's another gorgeous day in SW Florida. Got in two hours of tennis this morning, will watch the game (from home here), then head to the beach after the crowds have had enough. Yes, life is good for now.     Yeah, I think my Gibson at the 5th is more hope. If he's not on the team he's first in line when someone falters, Diamond or Worley. I just think Deduno throws too many pitches and will end up in the pen and stay there except for a spot start here and there. I don't think his shoulder will allow for more than that. Just my gut feeling.
