  1. Nice top inning guys … now get some hits and lots of them. well, just enough for Berríos to lose 🙂
  2. I’d like him out there 1-2 games a week though. It’s nearly June. It’s time, unless he can’t.
  3. I like the lineup, although I think I’d rather see Jeffers but I guess since he played yesterday …
  4. Hope to have the windows washed by game time! I’ve posted the matchups, will post lineups when I see them. Go Twins!
  5. Just to point out … Gordon is 27, Castro and Larnach are 26, Kirilloff and Wallner are 25, then Miranda and Julien are 24 and Lewis is 23. I’m not sure at what age cutoff is young. I hear it all the time ‘our young guys’ … what’s young? Is Larnach young at 26, but Gordon isn’t at 27? Correa is 28, Gallo, Buxton and Polo are all 29 and Max is the ripe old age of 30. That aside, I want the best out there. I care more about how they are playing than whether or not they’re our ‘young guys.’ I’m actually not sure where Miranda fits, tbh, but the way he’s playing, that may not be a worry. Is he still young enough at 24? I think we are at the end of the road with Gordon, but not sure how tradable he is right now with his injury. So, Castro, if he can keep up what he’s doing, putting together some good hits and playing well enough all over the place, I do think he supplants Gordon as our 26th-man/super-utility player. Whenever Gordon comes back from injury, we’ll see where he and Castro are at. Castro played well yesterday, but where will he be in a week?
  6. Before his recent injury he was hitting pretty well. A well-hitting Kepler is a better defender, so … don’t know
  7. I think there will be some tough decisions ahead as players come off the IL. I’m willing to give up some on defense to have the much needed offense. Wallner should have caught that, but, he did get the out with his arm, and provided much needed offense. Not sure I’d swap him for Kepler right now, depending on which Kepler we get back. And I think Castro has earned his spot as the super utility/26th man on the roster. And we need Julian’s bat. Hope they all keep hitting.
  8. The randomness of baseball strikes again
  9. I'm never confused by some of your analogies ... ever ... 🙈🙉🙊
  10. Asking if you trust what he's saying is an implication that he's not being truthful, at least that's how I read it. Sorry if I misinterpreted. I don't think any manager is going to go into details on an injury when it's not fully assessed as to if and when a player can play. From that one sentence he gave in that article, I read it as ... they will assess things on Friday. But then comes the question ... if he can't play will he go on the IL or will they give him a couple more days of rest. And if he goes on the IL, then who? I think he's just as much 'not in the know right now' as we all are.
  11. The earliest Royce can be activated is the 29th. And I’m not sure how you get dishonesty in one quote from Rocco. We have a day off today so it makes sense to see how things are on Friday before making any decisions.
  12. Have you had it? I have, as I said, so your not likely comment is most definitely not clinical as I know for certain you aren’t my doctor
  13. I’ve had it and played through it, until I couldn’t any more. Probably wasn’t a bad case but I did eventually have to stop playing tennis and rest
  14. I vote no to all three of those
