I'm just hoping that list is 3 times as long next year ... HINT, HINT, HINT ... to all those who read and/or participate in game threads and didn't volunteer this year.
Well, game threads might not be what they are today without Brian, but my history of game threads showed that they have been around since the beginning of this site, so your point about Brian isn't exactly accurate. However, Brian is Brian and no one can do it like him. He will always have my vote.
Even though this article mentions Mauer (it mentions other players, too), this is not a thread (or article) on Mauer. It's a thread on base running. Keep it there. Thanks.
My point is perhaps 'extremism' in any religion has no place in the White House. Personally, I don't care what religion someone is ... just don't impose it on me.
I would like to be able to ask Christians, then, what form of Christianity they follow and not allow anyone to run for president who adheres to a very strict, 'born again,' conservative, literally interpreted form.
Moderator note #1723, in this thread alone: Stop. Making. Your. Arguments. Personal! Stick to the topic. We will always disagree with one another ... no two people have the exact same ideas on everything going forward (or backwards, for that matter). Stop taking it personally. And stop responding personally. Stop the sarcasm meant to attack. If your post is more directed at the poster and not a rebuttal of what the poster said, don't hit 'post.'
I went past the new stadium in progress ... U.S. Bank Field? Or whatever it's going to be called ... NOT impressed ... at least with how it looks outside. Just a huge, dark gray behemoth. Guess it's better than the Metrodome, and ... it's not finished ... but so far ... not impressed.
Let's just see how it plays out. But let's call it what it was ... a Hunter blunder. And maybe a partial blunder on Glynn for putting the stop sign up so late ... but Glynn wasn't waving them around, either.
