I'm in Fort Myers right now and was at the Miracke game last night. That video doesn't come close to showing how great a catch that was by Tanner English.
I slipped on some old rock stairs and fell down them. Sprained both my left knee and ankle. The stairs weren't wet; I was wearing high heels and dressed in my concert attire. Definitely not a fun moment, but sprains are so weird, and being older it took a while (2 months) before I was back on the tennis court. And then I wore a knee brace for about 4-6 months after that.
Meanwhile, down in Fort Myers, the Miracle got out of a bases loaded jam to head into the 7th inning stretch. Tanner English made the play/catch of the game so far.

Again, I see we don't have a game thread volunteer for tonight and tomorrow. If someone wants to jump in today, great. First thread up takes it. If you want to volunteer for tomorrow, send Chief a PM.
Could also be finding enough willing, able and established contributing writers/bloggers. But that's just another guess. It's likely a lot of reasons. I'm just a moderator, though, not an owner, so I have no idea.
LOVE peach pie. I haven't met a pie I didn't like, well, except for British meat pies. But of the dessert varieties, yum. I have a recipe for a peach almond pie. I'll have to dust that off and make it again ... it's been a while. Waffles ... another yum. I like waffles better than pancakes. And as luck would have it there's a breakfast/lunch place a couple blocks from me called Waffles.
