    I really wonder who is on the other end of these ads. I mean, I'm now getting ads for CA technologies ... I mean ... wth is that? Me getting any kind of technology ads is really funny. Also getting ads for xfinity and 1800flowers. Oh, and there's PayPal at the bottom of the thread. Hmm.

    Oops ... was typing that pie comment and didn't see what happened with Grossman ... but we're out of the inning now after scoring 4. 4-0, Twins, after 3 complete ... baseball ... love it.

    I didn't ... damn it ... weather was crappy, didn't have supplies for baking, and didn't want to go out ... so no pie. But I don't need a day to eat pie ... I can eat pie any day.

    Interesting lineup today ... Mauer Dozier Kepler Sano Buxton Grossman Park Castro Polanco Mejia started, pitching 3 (so far), gave up 4 hits, no runs, has had 6 so.

    Looks like the Twins just got their first hits of the game in the bottom of the 3rd. Runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs. No score yet in the game. And now Polanco just walked ... bases loaded for Mauer.

    It's okay. You could have just as easily been correct on that. I wasn't trying to be 'crabby' about it ... I was just seeing comments regarding something that I feel somewhat strongly about in the opposite direction.

    First of all, the coffee comment was really not necessary. Secondly, my post was most about the few who complain about the lack of enthusiasm for and from team USA. So what? I really see no meaning in this tournament from a nationalism perspective. I have the same gripe re the nationalism I do with the Olympics. If you like baseball, then watch the games for the games, why get hung up on that? Because, yeah ... your reasons for watching are well stated and that I can respect. It isn't all about Team USA and that's as it should be, imo. Lastly, I do follow it loosely. I'll tune into games here and there, because it's baseball, and I want to see how Twins players are doing. I don't really care what country wins or doesn't because the whole concept of this is to expand baseball for the MLB. Well, and more lastly, why I made the next post I did ... hardly any chatter in here on what's happening. Makes me wonder really if many are that interested.

    That said, is anyone following/watching any of it, and not just the US? I see PR beat the DR last night. Wonder what Sano thinks of that? (He was interviewed during a ST game a few days ago and he was asked about was kind of 'teasing' would go on between he and his teammates depending on outcomes between PR and the DR.)

    Why should we be excited about the WBC? We have a whole season of baseball around the corner followed by the World Series. To me that's a much bigger deal and I'd rather have our guys, from all countries, be ready for that than meaningless displays of nationalism. As you could probably surmise, I'm just not a big fan of the WBC. I mean, really, what's the purpose of it? I just don't care. To me it's just this minor tournament in the middle of ST.

    See, that doesn't happen to me but very rarely, and I'm using my iPad when I'm on TD 75% of the time.

    Lol ... I never noticed. If I were, I would just chalk it up to my online activity and wouldn't think anything of it as I mostly shop online. Shoe ads come up quite a lot for me ... again, I think it's normal.

    Okay ... I think it's safe to hit the showers. Came home from working out and playing tennis and went right to the game ... then I need to ice my wrist, bicep and shoulder ... ugh, aging joints suck.
