  1. Correa, man, that. Was. Awesome!
  2. Joe hitting a bump
  3. That was a home run thanks to the wind. It was heading very foul and the wind just pushed it fair
  4. Mostly cloudy right now but clouds supposed to clear in an hour or so. Still nice and warm, though. 🙂
  5. Buxton scratched from today’s game, as a precaution, due to lower back tightness. Not exactly an injury, yet, but definitely one to watch.
  6. No photos yet. Buxton scratched due to lower back tightness. I get that one but he’s young and I’m almost 62. Red Sox lineup: Twins lineup:
  7. I’d say that the number of people who stuck around for the game is about what you’d get at a minor league game. As I said above, I’d like to see this next year, but have it be the only game, have it be the feature of the day.
  8. It did make for a long day at the ballpark. I thought about coming to the first game part way through but then I didn’t want to have to park a mile away so I ended up getting there early for the first game and leaving after the 3rd inning of the 2nd. I feel like I got to see who and what I wanted. But yes, wish more had stuck around even for the bit that I did. I think Soto was the highlight for me. Yeah, he gave up quite a few runs and walked several, but he’s young and wow, what power and so young. I hope that doesn’t mean an injury waiting to happen. But it was just fun to see, even just the three innings. I’d like to see this being the only game of the day. While the minor leaguers do play on the backfields, I’d like to see this highlighted game be front and center and the only game of the day
  9. Make sure you are logged in and make sure your subscription went through. Also, make sure your app is updated. Beyond that, someone else will have to step in. Did you receive any kind of message?
  10. Have some video but will post later. Twins have tied it thanks to some walks followed by hits followed by walks
  11. Hamstring
  12. Getting ready for game 2!
  13. Well, the substitutes are getting it done
  14. Wish they had waited just one more inning for the substitutions
  15. Diving catch for Buxton. No injury recorded
  16. I guess I missed that. But didn’t miss the hits we are getting! 3-2 Twins and their starter is out. For now.
  17. When did the Rays start wearing yellow hats? Did I miss something?
  18. Two really long no doubt home runs off Pablo so far
  19. I mean Wrigley is the iconic stadium from baseball’s past but is a far cry from stadiums today. I’ve said on this site many a time that I prefer going to the Sox stadium. Yeah, it’s a nothing special basic concrete stadium, but you are going to sit just about anywhere and see the entirety of the field. And the food and drinks are far better than Wrigley unless all you want is a soggy Chicago dog. Wrigley is overhyped but it truly is a must go once in your life just for the nostalgia
  20. Another glorious day!
  21. I’ve expressed my skepticism in other threads, but also acknowledge the potential. I think there is plenty to be skeptical about, but I also think we could be surprised … if players play up to their potential and stay relatively healthy. (Yeah, big ifs, but hope springs eternal,) I think it’s still too soon to tell, too soon to be concerned. I often give it a month or two of the regular season before I say too much either way. And as I’ve said around these parts many times … Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. I don’t have any control over any of it, so while hope might get dashed, I’m not going to lose sleep or get overly emotional over it, either.
  22. Also, beware the less expensive ‘obstructed view’ seats. These aren't the seats where you just can’t see the edge or corners of the outfield (those are a good portion of the regular seats), obstructed view seats have you sitting directly behind a pillar. (Learned from experience.) But, it is iconic, so go if you’ve never been.
  23. It’s ST for all of us … but I expect you to be in season form come March 28.
  24. You jinxed it
  25. It wasn’t that long ago that many posters anointed Balazovic as the next ace for the Twins. It makes me wonder that the Twins were able to remove him from the 40-man and no one claimed him
