Yep. Not going to worry about paying more to watch Cubs games, when it’s just the one game that is of interest.

Whooooa ... that's going to be an interesting lineup to watch tonight ... Oh, wait ... I live in Chicago ... I don't get to watch because ... (I won't get into that)
  3. Squirrel
I don't think any of that will help me watch the game tonight, however ...

I'm really looking forward to the next one!!

In Rochester? Would they be using the Red Wings’ facility?
  6. Squirrel
The field might be fine but the facilities might not be adequate. We'll see what they do.

I wonder if they could play all their games in their opponents' stadiums, with home field advantage when they are supposed to be the home team. That would be really odd, though.

    Thanks for your annual reminder

I wouldn’t say anyone is stupid. In fact I don’t think that at all. Some may not seek out as much information and know all the integral facts. Then, again, those that do often disagree. One way or another, Buxton needs to stay on the field. He is an elite talent and athlete and we need him to stay healthy and luck has not been on his side, imo.

Yep .., and he played at 2nd the other night

    RAIN!

Plus, he's not as versatile on the field as some would want from a backup/bench player. Dozier can really only play 2nd or DH/pinch hitter ... it's not enough anymore. As you said, teams are being built differently these days.

I just registered, too ... looking forward to it.

SHORTY!!!!! We were, pretty sure, the only two. You must be a regular figure here ... there are a few women on the boards now ... we need to make it more!

Thanks, Ted. I can't tell you how great it is to read these stories, here, on TD. And how important they are.

Yes, Kobs made it here. He posted infrequently, but every once in a while, he would post. This was the last post of his that I could find, from 3 yrs ago: http://twinsdaily.com/topic/24940-article-five-years-of-twins-daily-byto-edition/?p=584718
