  1. Back to topic. Sorry I responded to Nick in the first place. Please start a separate topic if you want to discuss the catcher situation. It is not related to sending down Julien.
  2. I know you are an offense first and only guy but I think Vázquez is the better player behind the plate than Jeffers. By far. Jeffers is the better player at the plate. I think it matters to have a good catcher behind the plate. With Carmago out with injury there is no one else I would even think of calling up at this point. But back to Julien. Send him down. Let him find his swing. Then bring up him, Lee and Martin. Buh bye to Margot and Farmer. I’m okay with this move now as long as the better move comes at the break.
  3. There will need to be some cutting of bait here … Farmer, Margot, Santana …
  4. When Julien finds it again and Lee is ready, I agree Farmer goes … but who else goes then? Lotta ifs and whens but I’m sure someone is thinking about it
  5. He is playing in AAA. While I’m not sold on Margot, I’m not sold on Martin, either. I still want to win and I’m not sure either of them should be there. But, this is about who goes for Royce. Neither Martin nor Margot are in that conversation, for now, so it would seem.
  6. And I think that’s legit. Dont get me wrong, I chose Farmer on this poll above. But I think let Julien reset himself, then he comes up and Farmer gone. I wasn’t all that impressed with Martin, tbh. I’m more iffy on that. But I don’t think sending down Julien is the wrong answer. I think it’s justifiable.
  7. And this: I think it’s the right move. For now. Won’t be forever, but Julien just seems lost at the plate.
  8. Oh please, keep spreading the joy … 🙄
  9. I agree, the sooner the better … as soon as he is able and cleared for that kind of stress. Given Royce’s injury history, I don’t mind some caution. He basically hasn’t played all season. He will definitely push his way in … he hasn’t yet. And comparing this to other teams’ healthy 20 yr olds isn’t exactly apples to apples. It’s not. At all.
  10. Okay, now this is the time to celebrate 🙂 Go to your nearest DQ for a Blizzard 🙂
  11. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. Celebrate the fun, shake off the bad. My philosophy with Minnesota sports teams
  12. Did @Riverbrian loan you his yellow Pablo jersey to wear?
  13. And neither do we. If that's what you think we were getting at, the message is over your head.
  14. López needs to find his mojo. I want wins!
  15. Go to the front page news forum. https://twinsdaily.com/forums/forum/8-twins-daily-front-page-news/ There the articles are as forum threads so you should be able to rate them.
  16. If you go to the article through the forum, you will be able to rate them.
  17. We should start a letter writing campaign to all the various entities. Still probably won't do any good. But it's preaching to the choir here at TD. We all get it, and we are all still powerless.
  18. I agree on Correa but disagree on Vazquez. He threw the ball where it needed to go … ahead of the base. We’ve seen that from him all season. Have he and Correa talked/worked on that? Because Vazquez’ throws have always been up the line from second and Correa has been there to get it. Outstanding play all around, but I think both players get credit for that.
