    I 'tweaked' my kitchen about a year ago. It wasn't a full remodel ... I added some cabinets, changed the flooring, added a backsplash, added some tile to the undercounter area where the counter stools are, and changed the lighting a bit. I didn't change the counters, sink or appliances. Your wanted reward wouldn't have quite covered it. The custom cabinets and installation was slightly more than half the cost. And my kitchen is not large. It's a small, galley-style kitchen in a condo. I don't have a before for comparison, but here's the mostly done shot, which doesn't show any of the beautiful tiling.

    Excellent summary. It is a conundrum what to do when your current best trade asset is also the thing you currently need most.

    With Santana and Berrios pitching games 1,2-6,7, yes, I could see a deep playoff run. And as long as there was a competent bp, maybe we could get another win in there. However, getting to the playoffs requires more than a 1-2 punch in starting pitching. But without Santana there is no hope of either. As the team stands now, we need him to get us there.

    I'm really not that much of a hot dog eater except for occasionally at a game. But I have had a chili dog with cheese in my past. It was okay. All depends on how good the chili is and the quality of hot dog.

    Wrapped in sticky rice topped with some roe. Yeah, that works. (And if we had a vomit emoji, I'd put it here.)

    No ... the only answer is mustard and chopped onion, the only exception being to leave off the onion

    As opposed to bright green relish, wedges of tomato, chopped white onion, a dill pickle spear, pickled sport peppers and celery salt? Yeah ... no comment. I can't throw stones at what Seattle does with their hot dogs.

    The two things I missed on my edits of the original. I flat out missed the wrong date. Heh. And the spelling of Wile. I knew it didn't look right in my first pass through and was going to check, then events at home made me forget.

    Watching 'The English Patient' felt more like 6 years. And trips to the DMV feels like 6 hours because it probably actually took 6 hours.

    I'm just wondering how Mauer hurt the team tonight? His line doesn't look too bad. Granted I wouldn't bat him that high up in the order, but that's not on him, but without his glove at first, that would hurt the team more, imo. <shrug> To each his/her own.
