    I’m currently holed up in a camp site in the Boundary Waters 10 miles from Canada holding my phone towards the NE to get a good signal. I listened to the game today on an old radio in my boat. The Twins would hit a homer and I’d catch a walleye. The Twins would hit another and my son wound catch a walleye...what an amazing team! Wait til Cruz and Garver come back! I’ll be over my walleye limit. I have tears in my eyes... Seriously friends, this is the best offensive Twins team I’ve ever seen and I’ve been a fan for 35 years. The pitching ain’t bad either... Gotta go now, fire needs another log. 40 degrees tonight.

    Good win tonight. I accomplished both goals clearly articulated in the Game Thread opener: 1. Ensure the Twins win tonight and stop their two game skid: Check! 2. Buy a few beers for TD members (only one showed up but beer was bought): Check!

    For the record, I’ve been posted out in the concourse section 111 and no free beer takers. I just watched a guy drop his beer on the floor. I’d buy him one but I think he’s already been over served.

    Welcome back to another exciting game thread and fun filled evening! I need to start this game thread by first apologizing to all of the Twins Daily readers out there. I was supposed to start the game thread last night but completely forgot about it (yes, I will take the blame for our loss last night). In order to redeem myself and help the Twins stop their 2 game skid I'm prepared to do two things: 1. I will be attending tonights game and will personally cheer the boys on! 2. In order to rebuild my reputation on this site and build a more neighborly community, I am prepared to buy a couple of beers for any Twins Daily readers lucky enough to attend tonights game. The first three posters on this thread that are attending tonight's game and say, "buy me that beer", I'll meet you in the lower level concourse behind home plate at the end of the 3rd inning. This might seem like a sketchy internet thing but since we're meeting in a large public venue its probably safe right? I'll try posting some updates live from Target Field! Go Twins!! Free beer!     Marnie just asked Cron if he was hoping to hit a triple for the cycle. Cron just laughed it off and said not really. We've seen him run before...He would have needed oxygen if he actually hit a triple.

    Why can't we all just get along? We have the best record in baseball, a win percentage above .600, Buxton is hitting, Polanco is batting above .330, our catchers hit like monsters, our starting pitching actually kicks ass, Rosario leads the league in homers, Justin Morneau is in the booth instead of Blyleven, it's not snowing anymore, Sano is on his way. I think the glass is more than half full.
