  1. People think the Green Lantern can compete. No way!

  3. Drink enough of his cheap wine and you will hurl.
  4. Fantastic post! I laughed out loud!
  5. I heard Bert was attempting a comeback to the majors. The Twins busted him throwing batting practice to some of the guys after hours at Target Field. He hit an unnamed player and it went downhill after that. I guess Falvey was livid.
  6. Last year was much worse. Somewhere around loss 88-89 people were freebasing Budweisers and smoking Jack Daniels
  7. Let's see if Vargas can leg out another infield hit
  8. I don't post again until Saturday. Sorry. Try it then. Hangovers on Sunday aren't as bad as they claim.
  9. Shhh! I was going to use that as a theme for a Game Thread opener soon.
  10. I'm double fisting. Trying to get caught up.
  11. After the Twins are through with Leclerc they will start spelling his name Lilac.
  12. I take Sano all day. Anyone who follows up their second punch using their glove to slap their opponent is uncool and a bad fighter.
  13. I was cheering for you. You're intro created the spark the team needed. By the way, Falvey and Molitor lurk on these pages daily.
  14. Polanco is working Verlander. Nice to see!
  15. So the Tiger fans must feel a little like us with Mauer...Oh, sorry. Is that stat for one year? We've lived that experience what? 4+ years.
  16. My easter leg of lamb was awesome! Tender and flavorful.
  17. I agree that there may not be a lot of changes this year with the new FO still figuring things out but from a defensive aspect I think we are on the right track. The outfield from a defensive stand point looks really solid. Behind the plate we are good, Mauer is doing well defensively at first base. Dozier is actually doing well so far this year too. Polanco and Sano are the bigger question marks. 7 out of 9 isn't bad.
  18. The defense has been a huge boost in helping this team win. It builds the confidence of the pitchers too. I'm not too concerned with Buxton's bat yet. The kid can hit and will hit (hopefully before June 1st). Whenever I hear quotes like Buxton's about only rain drops falling it makes me laugh. That's an attitude of confidence and something a championship caliber team would say. Love it! It's going to be a fun year of baseball after last years total system failure.
  19. I can't believe it! An opening day win has arrived! AWESOME!
