    I would think Astudillo will be on the taxi squad next road trip instead of Telis. With the Vargas trade it means they will move someone else off the 40 man.

    They released him in March so it was a re-signing.

    Whitefield cleared waivers and was outrighted to the minors, not St. Paul. So he is ineligible to return to the Tiwns 60 man player pool. They also signed Casey Lawrence to a minor league deal and he was added to the pool.

    But you cannot under any circumstances have 41 players on the 40 man. I was thinking maybe Gearrin wouldn't join them until tomorrow in MIL but he was on the taxi squad so he's there with them in KC. Not sure if anyone would qualify for the 45 man IL right now.

    Yes and nobody seems to know what that move is.

    They should have a noon game, and a 3:10 game every day. Not a bunch, but at least 1. My bigger beef is that on Saturday there was only 1 scheduled day game and it was rained out.ON Saturday they should schedule at least 2 noon games and 2 3:10 games so that if the national game is rained out they can air the other game.

    Everything was shut down in mid-March and in the DR as of 2 weeks ago still was not open so there is nothing that can be done.

    But according to a few on Twitter the facilities in Buffalo are terrible.

    One possible thing not mentioned but may be likely is that there could be a 15 pitcher limit, as the new rules started a 13 pitcher max for 26 man rosters and 14 for 28 players in September.

    Just read this on MLB Trade Rumors: Same article also states that once a player is put on the active roster standard rules apply. 10 days if optioned unless injury necessitates a recall.

    It's been announced that the pitcher will not get charged with an earned run.

    After the news today it clearly is all about dollars and cents. The owners need to open their books. Until then I refuse to believe anything they say. And I will say this again: The owners have insurance for situations like this.

    They want to renege on the deal made in March because they are greedy.

    Now one thing I will say is I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few teams that are in bad shape. Especially if they have a bad local TV deal. I was concerned last year that Cleveland was hurting since they're attendance was lagging for a few years as a contender. The lack of moves and trading Kluber still have me thinking that again now. I do not know there tv deal though.

    This here is the only thing that matters. The owners have insurance for catastrophes. They're not hurting anywhere near where they want you to think they are.

    Not mentioned here is that any games that are considered complimentary, or free with purchase of another game like I did for opener tickets, will receive no compensation and thoise tickets aren't worth anything.

    Would make more sense to give incentives to those who bought single game tickets IMO. Baltimore is giving 25% to STH. Now of course they probably only have maybe 5000 of them.

    Every plan I've seen has been the short season leagues so it would be Elizabethton, which is a shame as that has been a great affiliate for them.
