    You can be optioned 5 times. This is the 5th one so when he comes back he can't be optioned again. EDIT: I just double checked his transactions and I think the confusion is that he's listed as being sent down on both 8-3 and 8-4.

    I'm on the fence. If the pen stabilizes I'd say no. If they need help and he's ready i think I'd do it based on having postseason experience. if they were to do that I'd think he might get a few appearances in St. Paul or TF before the season ends.

    Rocco was clear in spring training that Arraez would no longer be used in the OF. He hasn't taken any reps out there so no reason to do it now.

    Wouldn't this be a similar situation to the Twins trading Correa? Yes the Twins are in first and the Giants are not but signing a FA then trading them midseason? And yes I get that Rodon is not the superstar Correa is.

    Sano and Kepler to the IL, Contreras called up and Tim Beckham's contract purchased. Ober moved to the 60 day IL to make room on the 40 man.
