    Du;uth and Austin/Rochester would be easy to cover as Hubbard owns stations in those market as well. So something like offering the station on one of their HD channels or just airing the games locally on one of them would work. And they could offer up the station to other areas as an HD subchannel as well.

    She turned down the extension was not offered an extension and instead the Marlins picked up their end of a mutual option and walked away because she was being demoted and the owner would not let her make changes in the ops department.. I don't blame her. This is typical Marlins bs. One step forward, six steps backwards.

    I fully expect Scripps Sports to end up with the Twins TV deal. They've been aggressive in doing so in other markets, with Phoenix being the big one. They have a local affiliate, owning ION (Channel 41 for rabbit ears) so no need for cable/satellite. at that point.

    There are only 39 players on the 40 man. They've been making moves on it but keep leaving it at 39.

    Last year was a fluke because they had to make up one series because of the lockout. Originally it would have ended on Sunday.

    Radio was over a minute ahead this year when games were on Bally. ESPN, FOX, etc. it was over 30 seconds behind. It was impossible to sync up.

    Teams are allowed to carry a handful of not roster players and they can be in uniform in the dugout. It's like a taxi squad.
