    I don't remember any request for a non-40 man player being denied. Maybe there have been some that were never mentioned publicly.

    I've come to the conclusion that the only thing that matters for a postseason roster is the player was in the org by the end of August.

    The Saints play through the 24th so there is time. Plus they should be in the playoffs after that.

    I would change the rules to back of the line after a claim. But i would also reset the waiver wire after the last game each Sunday.

    It can but there has never been a petition that was denied for an injury related reason. If it was denied then they'd ask for another player or use someone already on the 40 man.

    Yep it goes from a 4th rounder to a 2nd rounder.

    Likely not but if someone has an injury they very well could claim a player after that.

    Rethinking this it really won't help them get under it. Anyone who isn't claimed would still get paid by them even if released.

    These are revocable waivers. Last week the Halos put Tyler Anderson on waivers and nobody claimed him so he was kept. However if they get rid of all of these players it will knock them under the CBT tax crap, um cap.

    One thing to remember is these players do not gave to be released if they clear waivers. They can remain with the team if the team wants them to. Except Donaldson. I think he went on release waivers.

    Sands could be the one. With 3 off days in the next 8 they could put Keuchel in the pen for that stretch as the long man. Or it could be Keuchel.

    @USAFChiefNo suspension announced yet. Anderson didn't play because he's likely concussed.

    Carew, Oliva, and Hrbek were introduced as a group at the end of the intros so I'd think those would be the next 2 in line to make the call.

    Yes that is what happened. My post earlier was based on the roster on the Twins website that showed "Minors" next to his name.

    Looks like Luplow was assigned to St. Paul, as he does have an option left. With Contreras getting released yesterday that makes sense.

    If you take away the tree blowups from Pagan's numbers (12 ER in 3 IP) you have 5 ER in 44.1 IP for an ERA of 1.01.

    If their not going to call up Keuchel then do it. Moran can go to St Paul for a spell.
