    This 7 game over curse is getting tiresome. 5th chance to go 8 games over...let's get it done.

    There is no reason to be trading our young core players unless there is absolute log jam somewhere. There isn't in the OF. Palka could prove a useful platoon with Kepler but we don't need to be opening up 600 ABs for him. And the Rosario/Delmon comparison is ridiculous. Delmon's biggest issues were that he was a complete joke on defense and he was a lazy jerk. Neither of those things are true of Rosario. Finally as usual, folks manage to simultaneously crap on a player AND over-estimate his trade value at the same time.

    Glad to see them finish off one of these 9th inning come-backs for once.

    Disappointing. It's hard not to feel a bit snake bit. That's 3 times in the last 10 days now that we've come up a few inches short of a 9th inning come back. Meanwhile the Angels are doing it nightly.

    Terrible call. That aside, how do you allow Giminez to bat in the 9th (or the 7th for that matter)? You could easily have put Garver at catcher after the 7th since you inserted Granite anyway. Or you could have simply used Castro in the 10th if needed. Inexcusable. That's aside from the fact that you went with 8-9 hitters who had basically no prayer all day.

    I'd have like to see them get in a on Rajai Davis. They could really use a RH bat to platoon with Kepler instead of Adrianza. Not huge but would have been something.

    This needs to be the end of Dillon Gee as a starter. Either Slegers or Mejia needs to take the next turn. And Duffy shouldn't have been brought out for a 3rd inning. That's on Mollie.

    Would be wise to go find a RH outfield bat to platoon with Granite/Kepler unless we get good news on Sano in the next hour.

    No. I'm still bitter about Eric Fox's HR on Aguilera on 7/31/92. We were headed towards back-to-back until that moment.

    We must take a moment to thank Terry Ryan for burning two Polanco options for a total of 3-4 games in 14-15. Otherwise he'd have been raking for Rochester all month. Brilliant foresight, Terry.
