    He had some decent seasons, but certainly no great shakes, and definitely not all-star caliber. It was also no secret that he really, really didn't want to come to Minny.

    Thoughts: While it's a kick to put up a Vikings/ Broncos score today, this series should have been a sweep, and that's totally on Rocco. No way we should have given away that game yesterday. I'm up for a Keirsey/ Kiriloff swap. He can play OF a hell of a lot better than Alex, and Miranda can spell at 1B. Wallner has shown signs of regaining consciousness, but he needs to keep producing for a spell before I'd throw him back to the MLB pitchers/wolves. "Recently promoted Jay Jackson..." Why? Thielbar- needs an IL rest, or a rehab in AAA. Sidebar: haven't been noticing- is that Gd sausage still around, and if so, it's way past its cutesy-thing date.

    RALLY TIME! By the way- I just put up a new post, because I'm making my way back to the USA this summer, with a stop at Target Field- for the 1st time! (My last Twins home game was at the DOME!) It looks like I'll try for the ChiSox series, early August- just finalizing itinerary this week. But it would be great if you'd check out that post, and perhaps we can set up a TDer meetup at Target!

    Greetings from monsoon-laden Hong Kong! I've been a part of this community of distinguished individuals for quite some time now. As some of you may know, I've been living and working in Hong Kong for several years, and before that, a couple of decades in Chicago, then LA, so I've been away from the homeland for a long time. In fact, the last Twins home game I went to was at the Dome... Never been to Target! This summer, that will change. I'm making my summer holiday trip back to the States, and this time, I'll swing through the Great Midwest- back to the ND roots, and then through the Cities. I'm looking at early August for that portion of my trip- shooting for the Aug. 2-4 White Sox series. It would be great to meet up with as many of y'all as can be! So if you're inclined to share a game and brew or two with a vagabond from offshore, and can introduce me to the highlights of Target' Field, I'd welcome it. Anybody inclined to set up a "family outing" of TDers? I'd love to meet some of you in the real world! Cheers from HK, David
