  1. And wow, 6 in a row on the road?!? We haven't done that since we were good. It's even nicer to do it against the very teams we're contending with for the WC.
  2. Wow, those Rays announcers are jagoffs, but the post game guys are even worse. They're just in full denial they lost this game too. Although the bunt by Buxton "changed the whole complexity of this game..." As if base-ball didn't have enough complex-ity to begin with.
  3. Is that the robot that got killed in Philly? If so, no wonder.
  4. I want my chicken dinnah served at that Hooter's or whatever it is down the 3B line at the Trop! Mmmmmmmm.....!
  5. What's with the tables and chairs down 3B way? Is there a Hooter's out there? Strangely ill-attended if so...
  6. Too bad he didn't get 2 weeks off earlier, say... every 2 weeks or so.
  7. Well, tack on another TD here, with the extra point, and maybe bring Boyer out for the 9th, too.
  8. Don't you dare tell me BB is coming out for the 8th. Nononononononono.....!
  9. Maybe the Heinkels were sighted over TBay, and this is the designated shelter.
  10. I concur, Dr. I posted a couple of games ago, how the Twinks would be looking if we hadn't had stiffs like Boyer and Thompson pitching so often. And same thing here. How would the Twinks look now if Molly had stuck with Esco the whole way this year? FFS. Why is it we're so much smarter on TD than in the dugout or the FO on this? I guess they're just dumberer.
  11. Oh, Esco, thank you, thank you. I had a feeling we're needing more runs today.
  12. Dozens might be optimistic.
  13. That's about all you can say. I'm just glad we won't see Boyer anymore this game, or Dunse. Dodged a bullet there.
  14. First Dunse, to face a powerful righty, now Boyer. O. M. F. G.

    Oh No

  16. Ummmm.... exactly why is Dunse in the ball game? FFS, Molly. We get a lead on Archer for once, and you just wanna give it right back. Where's that smiley with the one digit raised?
  17. --- unless you're in St. Pete.
  18. That's what was bugging me-- takes me back to our living room in the 70's! Repressed memory, I guess.
  19. That's sooooo Continental.
  20. Wow- a late inning lead. I'm making a plea to the heavens that Boyer stays on his comfy seat in that BP area.
  21. Really knocked the snot out of that one, Joe. But thanks! Oh, this is one of those innings that just rend your very heart. It's almost embarrassing to be on the 'right' side of this. But I'll take it, all day long!!!!!
  22. Oh, my-- we're back to using our secret weapon- unlucky D from the other team! Let's go, boys, don't waste this now.... Heh-- Rays announcers had called a DP on that pitch!
  23. Wow, Buck-- the anti-Punto. Thank you so much for not sliding and breaking a digit, there, young man. What speed..... I was never even that fast in my dreams!
  24. OK, here's my contribution to Dog Day. Bucky, the Wonder Whippet. With me for 13 years. Came all the way to China with me, until he succumbed last year. Have another dumpling, buddy, and smile.
  25. I gotta wear that one. Sorry.
