  1. Decided to log on to mlbtv at last. Sox feed, can't do it. Can't listen to Hawk with a lead, too noisy.
  2. Whew, we got outta that inning. I'm worried about ChiTown chugging down ballpark wine over there.
  3. Oh, goody, Boyer again, (followed by Dunse!). And we only have about 17 other options in the bullpen, so it's a good call. Gave it up last inning, so maybe this inning will be better. Reminds me of Larry Miller, comedian extraorinaire-- referencing people who get divorced, then remarry each other. 'It's like opening the fridge and saying, gee, this milk is sour. Well, maybe tomorrow it'll be fresh..."
  4. Dang. My Gf just came to Chi today for a conference, and I could have gone along. Just couldn't tear away from a brand new job for a week-- believe me, I checked the schedule, and was tempted! I'd even sit thru a shellacking in that ****ty park in the cold to see the boyzzzz. ChiTown, and whoever else is there, you better get good and stinkin' drunk and cause a ruckus in my stead, cuz that's what I woulda done. And then put on my puke-colored Sox hat and stumbed over to Halsted to my buddy's pub for a good SSide Irish welcome. Ah well.
  5. Does Mr. Beef have a stand at the park? It could be soothing. And washed down with a Goose Island for every Sox run.
  6. Yikes, now it's Boyer. Molly must be punting.
  7. Well, that kind of pulls it together, in a way.
  8. Oh, for heaven's sake. I was too busy catching up on the threaddy stuff, I forgot there was a game. Well, fiddlesticks, and phooey on Milone, too. If only somebody had started a wave to distract them...
  9. Augh! What is it? And the color of post-tequila-and-caesar-salad-bender puke, yikes.
  10. Sorry, had the early AM workout, thinking the game started later--- Nice opener, Hrbekowski, but see? I'm raising my hand for a couple of questions: In re: to #1-- Unless you're a what? in re: to the photo-- who are they? it doesn't look like the 'G'iants and maybe 'C'incy. I'm confused.
  11. Yay! Late, but.... Hey, where is everybody? Dang it. Only chicken bones left. Oh well, crunchy!! Yummmmmm..... dinnah!
  12. No wonder we never invaded. I sure don't wanna go up agaainst that guy, eh?
  13. Zuke has taken a lot of rips throughout the season on these threads- but you gotta say, especially in light of what went down in KC (thanks, Boyer), Minnie would be nowheresville without him this year, even in his dimished form from last season.
  14. Awesome opener, Mr. River. Who was that who put that shaky hand up, anyway? He was probably a street urchin chasing a hoop and stick in his high button shoes and breeches back then. Or maybe Sid.
  15. F'ing mlb- all the highlights of the game posted, but of course, no Sano. W T F?!?!? Hate them.
  16. Oh- dammit! I'm late for the chicken?!?! Well, at least there's pie.... mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....! Good job by the boys. Tore me up to step away for the Jepsen part. Good night, all. Now, off to lunch time meeting with the Drama Club- a different one than this one, that is.
  17. Oh, I dare say, Cutbert is up to bat! Beware the wicked googly, there! Pip, pip, chop, chop, cheerio, and all that rot. Say no more, squire!
  18. Hey, I gotta good idea-- Let's leave Boyer in!
  19. Well, there was nobody on base in front of him, so.... no incentive, I guess.
