    Heh... glad somebody got that one-- and a 70 Charger, no less. I had a 69, till it threw a rod on the way to Heart Butte summer blowout back in the day.

    Wow, just had a wakey-wakey in the middle of the night- and popped in to the inter-nets for a score. Holy.... and here again, the newly-acquired No-Neck Williams has done the damage. Where did this guy come from? Oh, and before I forget, and go back to sleep---

    Thanks, Seth, for all the work you do so we can keep track of the young 'uns, and keep hope for the future alive! You know, rather than watch Fien and Boyer be the destructive right-handed presence, why not get "Gulfa" Tonkin up here to stay? Let him take his lumps and learn. It's not like the aforementioned clowns are 1) any better, and 2) any part of any future Twins team after this woebegone year. I know he got lit some, and was more wild than AAA while he was up, but gawd, at least he's got K potential, he's done the job he got sent down to do, and we can at least see if he's going to be part of that future or not. Or, we can choose to go with guys we already know are not-- and shouldn't be part of the present lineup, either.

    And how must young Mr. Achter feel right now, knowing a 5'7" outfielder came in to clean up his mess? Wow, the ignominy of it all. That's got to be a bit of a blow for the confidence factor.

    I hate-watched that series 'Wayward Pines,' cuz it started off looking kind of good. I'm hate-watching this game now, the same way. Freakin' slow-motion car crash... or maybe just watching the smoke start to rise from the dumpster as the flames begin to lick their way up the sides. Or maybe my girlfriend from back in the 90's face, as we drove home from that oyster bar, just before she ruined my favorite sweater...

    It's true. It's 10 AM here, and when I tuned in, it was already 4-1 and trouble a-brewin'. So I decided to use my time productively, and got into the kitchen. Here's some banana-cardomom bread, with a little orange zest mixed in. Dig in, everybody!
