    All I experienced was the little league inside the park HR. By HS my strategy was get a walk or get hit by the pitch then steal 2nd and 3rd base

    I was never much of a HR hitter myself... I imagine it's just as satisfying as launching a great drive down the fairway and getting that roll down the hill to clear 300 yards.

    Yeah that’s where I stand too. There’s nothing he can say that will make this situation better. If worst case he had a mental breakdown, there are a dozen other choices he could have made without screwing over his teammates. He made an unforgivable selfish decision that goes against everything teamwork and competition stands for.

    Yeah they made it legal this year. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone do it yet but for players that have 3 or more documented concussions they should be required to wear it https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-to-give-players-option-to-wear-guardian-caps-during-regular-season-games

    That really sucks to see him seize up again on National TV. If he does come back, they should probably mandate him wearing the guardian helmet. Assuming they’re actually effective in preventing concussions.

Your 2nd paragraph, yep. Pretty clear people have moved on after being cut off from TV access for multiple months this summer.

    You’re not going to get any disagreement from me. My tinfoil hat theory is Joe Pohlad had the aspiration of spending more for a better team… He appears to be the lone living baseball fan in the Pohlad family. Then he got cut off by Jim and the board this year.

    Let’s hope they come back. It’s our best chance to hang onto a wild card spot and win a playoff series. Without them, and Lewis/Castro/Miranda/Lee slumping, this is the expected outcome.

    The 2019 playoff win against New Orleans stunted this organization in a number of ways. If we lose that game, maybe Kirk Cousins walks after his 3rd fully guaranteed years in 2020. Zimmer should have been fired after 2020 and that brutal defense.

    Attendance of less than 15k in September when they are leading the wild card playoff race. Kinda says it all, no? Apathy is spreading far and wide for the Twins…
