So he didn’t hire him. That’s the point you were pushing back on. Glen Taylor didn’t hire the executive team that finally turned around the organization. When he was solely making decisions, the team was one of the worst run franchises in all of sports for 14 years. -

Glen Taylor didn’t hire the current GM or coach of the T Wolves. That was all Lore and A-Rod. When Glen was the sole decision maker for the Timberwolves they were irrelevant for 15 years. I hope he is not interested in buying the Twins because that will end up being a disaster.

He hired all of that bad management. The Timberwolves were a laughing stock organization 15 years in a row until Lore and A-Rod came in.

ESPN’s coverage of the sport continued to get worse over the years. I still have nostalgia for Baseball Tonight in the early 2000s but those days are long gone. My hope is getting more games on over the air, easily accessible channels. Perhaps FOX expands their coverage to more than just 1 “Game of the Week”. Maybe CBS gets in on the action. ABC likely not since they’re also owned by Disney. -

Just catching up on this thread. If Kenneth Grant is available at 24 that’s a no brainer sprint to the podium pick. I think he will be a top 15 pick. It’s rare to be that big, with pass rush ability. Hockenson had 95 catches in 2023, on pace for well over 100 before the dirty hit that blew out his knee. He’s not going anywhere and fans will remember how good he is after a full offseason being healthy.

Twins over/under wins total is 83.5 wins. Betting the over is -120 and betting the under is even odds so pretty much a waste. Craziest I’ve seen is 104.5 wins for the Dodgers, and 51.5 wins for the White Sox.

Then why is he on the 40 man roster today? The definition of little to no risk is him not being on the 40 man roster until he actually earns it in spring training.
