    We’ve been hoping for an instant superstar since Joe Mauer in 2004. When will it be our time again? Our next hopeful is Walker Jenkins. Maybe, just maybe, he’s what we’ve all been hoping for.

    Today was the best Sunday at the Masters in years. I was glued to the broadcast on my flight back home this afternoon

    Always good to start the week with a win. Wasn’t able to watch today but I am happy to read about a solid SWR start… Also, Harrison Bader is a pretty easy guy to root for. He brings some hustle and swagger to a team that severely lacks both.

    Is it smart to continue giving Prielipp starts even if they’re 4 innings or less? Who knows how many bullets are in that arm, so shouldn’t he get prepped to be a bullpen arm?

    I’d be surprised to see Lewis anytime before June. Hamstrings take forever to heal, and once you tweak it again you’re back to square 1.

    The way this roster is playing will definitely get Rocco fired. If it remains this way he’ll be gone by the end of the month. However, Rocco IMO is just a symptom, and not the cause of the rancid stench coming from this organization. The Pohlads aren’t gonna be paying 2 manager salaries, so if Rocco is indeed fired, then Jayce Tingler better get ready to pull double duty as a manager and bench coach.

    Won’t be able to watch. The first true test of attendance happens today… Saturday afternoon with the high near 70 degrees. Over/under 14,000 people?

    I’m not even mad at Mickey Gasper. It’s not his fault he’s playing on the MLB team. Deeply unserious franchise.

    I’m on the west coast for vacation this week so can’t verify but it says 50 degrees currently at 10:30 PM. I’d say that’s more than acceptable for April 11. It’ll be 70 degrees for both games this weekend so that will be the true test

    Truly. Not even halfway through April and we’re buried in the standings. Good thing I got practice last year not watching them for months. I’ll be doing the same during the dog days of summer

    My question as well after reading the recap… Didn’t he throw more pitches in the start when he was ill? Pre-game I was hoping for 6 strong innings from Ober. But it seems like there’s more gas left in the tank looking at pitch count.

    Doesn’t matter the industry… If you’re spending more on the product than your direct competitors with poor outcomes, changes are on the way soon. If the season is lost, I expect Lopez at the very least getting traded to lower expenses

    I’m not passionate about firing Rocco, but it’s time. It’s abundantly clear the players on this roster aren’t playing for him anymore. Move on before this becomes a lost season.
