  1. Correct. For every 1 Brent Rooker that finally clicks at age 28, there are 50 other Andrew Stevensons that flame out as AAAA players. Keirsey is likely to be in the group of 50 than the outlier.
  2. He’s turning 28 next week. This is probably the best we’re gonna get out of him at the MLB level.
  3. About 10 years ago on this website there was a poster that commented all the time about the Twins ruining Adam Brett Walker III and never giving him a chance. Turns out, that poster was Adam Brett Walker’s dad. So I’ve got to ask… Are you DeShaun Keirsey Sr?
  4. The weather is going to be outstanding this week. Will this deal get people’s attention?
  5. Let’s hope both were called up because they’re fully healthy - not out of pure desperation for more offense. Hamstring and oblique injuries are notorious for recurring tweaks throughout the season if they’re not fully recovered.
  6. You get your wish. Curry and Buckets have pulled too many rabbits out of their hats over the years and I’m scared they’re gonna do it again against the Wolves
  7. Is a special advisor a “top guy” in the org? Terry Ryan was a special advisor for the Phillies too.
  8. And they wouldn’t look at another organization that’s better than us doing that?
  9. If a special advisor role is a top guy in a FO, sure. Maybe even Cleveland will let him come back in that role
  10. What team would drop everything they’re doing to hire an executive whose team missed the playoffs 4 out of the last 5 seasons?
  11. Short answer: Never Long answer: Never, because that’s what coaches in every sport does if they want another job in the sport they coach in. There’s nothing for them to gain by throwing players or other coaches under the bus, even if it’s true. That’s why they stick with meaningless cliches like “We need to look at the film”
  12. Time heals most wounds, and most people find him likable even if he took steroids sometime during his 24 year career. But the HOF voters had to make a point and blacklisted 90% of the stars that hooked me on baseball as a kid in the late 90s.
  13. While they’re on that website, perhaps they can look in the archives at the “gold standard” ZIPS projections. Could have sworn I read that the lineup was projected to have 8 or 9 league average or better hitters.
  14. Remember back when Leslie Frazier was coaching the Vikings before he was fired? After every game he’d tell the media “We got to look at the tape.” on our way to a 3-13 record? That’s how it feels right now each passing game with Rocco leading the way. We are just wasting time until someone in a position of power notices and makes changes. This team has no answers right now
  15. Then a routine 6-4-3 DP by France. Loooooooser
  16. Is Falvey still responsible for making roster moves? Or is he too busy attending marketing meetings to know what’s happening anymore?
  17. They are running at. will. Just embarrassing
  18. I have that same thousand mile stare Buxton did when I watch this offense
  19. Example #11,756 this season of poor fundamentals
  20. I look at this lineup tonight, and there’s really just 1 lineup spot not accounted for from our “optimal” lineup. Lewis for Gasper at DH. Bader’s actually doing okay so is he that much of a downgrade from Wallner? So 1 or maybe 2 lineup switches is going to make this offense hum?
