  1. Any magician can make a Queen of Diamonds disappear, but what about a WHOLE bunch of baserunners?!
  2. In fairness, I don’t like waking up earlier either
  3. Just turned the game on to catch an inning or two… It’s bizarre we play Baltimore 6 times in a span of 9 days then we’re done with them the rest of the season.
  4. Mike Tomlin has a damn good track record of getting rid of head case WRs before they self destruct… Antonio Brown, Martavis Bryant, Diontae Johnson. Edit: Forgot about Chase Claypool too. But IIRC that was more of a work ethic issue than being a disruptive personality
  5. I honestly don’t have the time to watch the Twins right now, but I’m happy that the wins are stacking up lately. This is the version of Byron Buxton we’ve dreamed about for 10 years. Come on baseball Gods, give us 1 full year of this Byron Buxton.
  6. Yeah it’s Metcalf, Robert Woods that’s about 4 years past his expiration date, and something called Calvin Austin at slot WR. I don’t care who the QB is, that’s tough sledding to work with.
  7. It’ll probably go exactly how it did with the Jets. I don’t think Rodgers fits what they’re trying to do at all, but he has no where else to go after we turned him down.
  8. Yeah I didn’t remember Johnson went there and I agree. Very much a Steelers type of player. Could be LeVeon Bell 2.0 for them if their OL doesn’t stink
  9. Without googling it I could not name the Steelers RB… Turns out it’s the Iowa RB Kaleb Johnson who I do like… Just not this year. Their WR room is DK Metcalf and a group of people I’ve never heard of. Without Rodgers their QB room is Mason Rudolph and ??? They’re a 6 win team at best.
  10. On the flip side, the Steelers are setting themselves up to bottom out. Whether or not Rodgers actually plays for them, their talent on offense is abysmal. I’m avoiding any and all Steelers players in fantasy drafts this summer.
  11. Morton’s getting paid $15 million with those results? Yikes.
  12. Really sloppy effort tonight. Wolves didn’t show up to win, and continue laying bricks from the 3 pt line.
  13. I’ll take that as a birthday present today. It’s time to add to that column of games played with all 3 of Buxton, Lewis, and Correa in the lineup. Going off of memory, I think it’s the 40th game out of something like 350 games with all 3 healthy and playing for the Twins.
  14. Barring another injury in the major league infield, it appears Julien is going to be in AAA for a while. The reality is he’s 4th on the depth chart for 2B starts now. Lee, Castro, and Keaschall once he returns are all higher on the priority list for playing time over Julien. By July, we will probably be talking about Julien as an additional piece to a trade.
  15. Correct. For every 1 Brent Rooker that finally clicks at age 28, there are 50 other Andrew Stevensons that flame out as AAAA players. Keirsey is likely to be in the group of 50 than the outlier.
  16. He’s turning 28 next week. This is probably the best we’re gonna get out of him at the MLB level.
  17. About 10 years ago on this website there was a poster that commented all the time about the Twins ruining Adam Brett Walker III and never giving him a chance. Turns out, that poster was Adam Brett Walker’s dad. So I’ve got to ask… Are you DeShaun Keirsey Sr?
  18. The weather is going to be outstanding this week. Will this deal get people’s attention?
  19. Let’s hope both were called up because they’re fully healthy - not out of pure desperation for more offense. Hamstring and oblique injuries are notorious for recurring tweaks throughout the season if they’re not fully recovered.
  20. You get your wish. Curry and Buckets have pulled too many rabbits out of their hats over the years and I’m scared they’re gonna do it again against the Wolves
  21. Is a special advisor a “top guy” in the org? Terry Ryan was a special advisor for the Phillies too.
