    If you look at last year stats it seems he falters in August but rebounds in September.

    Kohl isn't ready yet. His command is still not even close on where it should be to be able to pitch in the Majors.

    Mauer will never go anywhere else. He has stated this time and time again. He is entrenched when it comes to Minnesota. He will offer a hometown discount next year and will retire a Twin.

    Oh please. They spent money on pitching this year and it didnt pan out. It was all really positive on the board at the start of the season even though some of us knew that it wasn't even close to enough. Another thing I am tired of hearing is that they didnt do enough to better the team in July? Are you serious? We had more holes in this team than swiss cheese. The FO did exactly what they should of done with this type of roster and that was to blow it up a bit. So many posters along with fans were jumping on the bandwagon simply because they swept the worst team in baseball and were "in it."

    If you complain on what was done to this team all you have to do is watch this game and the rest of the series to realize how far we are away from competing with good teams.

    Dont really understand why many of you are pissed at these moves, the season is over. Maybe the FO simply didnt want to mess with the bringing anyone up front the minors due to what happened to Buxton. Who knows and who really cares. What I care about is unloading the prospects for quality players come this offseason. If we have the current roster carry into next year, well than I would be furious, but for now just enjoy baseball because this team was going nowhere.

    The guy has been GM for two years now. Think he deserves a little time before he is hung out to dry. The moves he made with exception of Esky didnt really have much affect on the team and I still believe Esky might be back.

    Why are we still posting about Dozier in the Minnesota Twins portion of the forum? Should be moved to the other baseball section. He isn't a Twin anymore and it is time to move on.

    Falvey was quoted during the Twins game about the amount of prospects we got and how they will come into play during the offseason. I believe he is going to make some big moves.

    This is now Falvey's team. Let's give it a few and see what happens. I do find it a breath of fresh air that the gm is making moves. Hopefully with all the prospects we can make a trade in the off season that will make the present trades look like a genius move.

    I am not sure we should be including Sano in any conversation regarding this team. He has looked completely lost IMO when he is batting and still doesn't layoff the outside pitch. Mauer is a better option at 1st for the next 2 years.

    The Twins brought him up to early like they tend to do with the majority of their young players. He looked like garbage with his at bats and should of stayed in the minors for another month or so, but hey it is like a trade right?

    I just dont think you should trade him unless we find ourselves down by 10 games. He is young and he is starting to show veteran presence on the mound.

    Omg what a heart attack of an inning. Gibson was magical. His trade value has to be through the roof right now.

    With the Yankees acquiring Happ they dont need any other starter. Twins aren't going to trade anyone.

    There is no way Dozier goes to the Brewers. I don't get the daydreaming on this board. He is having an awful year.

    The Twins are notorious for waiting to long to accept trades for players. This was another time they should of pulled the trigger and the reason why I have mentioned in previous posts that Dozier is not going anywhere now due to his performance this year.

    I dont think anyone on this team is tanking. That doesn't fly in baseball. Dozier obviously hit his plateau last year and as the Twins usually do they wait to long to pull the trigger on a trade. They need to dump Esky because he is the only player that would get any major league starter in return and not just a bunch of maybe prospects.
