  1. Actually I put some perfectly executed Tae Kwon Do moves into use and boot him out the door without bothering to ask what he's up to. Not a basketball fan so I don't recognize him, nor would I care if I did. Not only do I call the police but I sue for reparations. Then I think to myself, "This may be a popular subject for a blog post ... "
  2. I doubt I'll ever marry (I'm suffering from an extreme and debilitating case of narcissism), but I've promised myself if I do, we'll have a baseball-focused honeymoon as well. I was thinking the WS ... we'll get engaged at whatever time just to make it official, but instead of wasting a bunch of money on making a big shebang of our wedding, we'll not settle on a date until the Twins go to the WS (when we're 66 and 62, respectively), and then we'll have a quick little town hall wedding and then on to the Twins ... Fortunately for me, I'm the lady in this situation and will probably sit with my pencil and scorebook as he wanders around the stadium finding food, etc.
  3. It's a ****ed up system ... it really pisses me off. I can't imagine what she must've gone through ... be going through ... I was the subject of minor internet bullying last year and was pretty shook up myself over that, and I was only mildly infamous (one large city rather than multiple large countries), and they didn't have a picture of me (luckily at the time all my social media profile photos were a Twins #VoteDozier pic), and I remember thinking over and over to myself that I was so glad they didn't have a picture of me ... who knows what they would've done. I was terrified they were going to find a picture of me and turn it into a popular meme or something. If I was naked, I think I would have killed myself. And anyone who puts someone through that deserves to get a sentence comparable to murder.
  4. I believe the report. Why would we want to continue victim blaming? You think she's actually fishing for even more publicity over this? God damn it all ... I'm so ****ing tired of the victim blaming that goes on out there. Enough, please. Just ... enough.
  5. There's a big difference between lowbrow and idiocy, my friend. Idiocy doesn't belong in the WH any more than soft drinks belong in the WHCA Dinner.
  6. Lol ... we'll sit next to each other without saying a word, and neither of us will ever realize who the other is ... though I might recognize you from your Twitter picture (if I bother to look).
  7. One wonders why Drumpf doesn't merely settle the debate over his fingers once and for all with a full frontal nude shot. For the same reason he won't release his tax returns, perhaps?
  8. B. And it's not even close. I don't need you guys to find out what I'm really like, and I'm not sure if i want to find the same about you. And anyway, I'm too young to drink, dislike potty trotters, and it's cheaper (and healthier) to bring your own food. And the only two times I went to games I just sat there and stared at the field like a Border Collie staring at a sheep; I totally enjoyed myself, and I wouldn't be able to do that if I was in a group. Sorry guys ... maybe if you bring your binoculars you can view me from afar. Though you might not want to ... I get there are a few TD posters who'd say, "A - if Always isn't going to be along." In which case, you totally get your cake and can eat it, too.
  9. Oh, I don't disagree. But it's certainly not going to convince me to vote for someone I don't like. Also, to tell the truth, I don't consider chanting "Make America great again" to be overly sharp ... but it's all a matter of opinion. And if you really want to vote for the best speaker of them all, I'd recommend Hillary. But nothing would bring you to vote for her, I suspect.
  10. Anyone who has the ability to attract such a following as this man is obviously "good at it." Is this an adequate qualification to be the POTUS? Noooope. If that's not the point you're trying to make, I'm sorry for assuming such. Because if anyone mistook me for a Trump supporter, I would not only be surprised but offended.
  11. CBU® (Let's see if the sheriff catches that one)
  12. Trump probably couldn't get much worse breaking script than he is at other times. I'd be hesitant to chalk that up as sharpness.
  13. Meanwhile, a nearly obsolete commodity remains a prominent feature in our antiquated household as a reminder of the technological advances humankind has achieved in my lifetime alone.
  14. By this I suppose you mean it's insulting to have such a blatant reminder that racism and sexism are still prevalent issues in modern American society. Or maybe it's as simple as, "He has insulted individual white men; therefore, I've come to the conclusion that he's insulting them as a group in the same manner he insults women and minorities." Because of course you understand that when Brock said, "The guy has insulted pretty much everyone who isn't a white male at one point or another," he meant Drumpf has insulted them by his collective bigotry towards them.
  15. Nah, your b-day's not until June, so you're an extra day younger. That means you've got that much more time to dope delusional Americans into thinking you're under 21. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  16. We may have a new lurker (or two) here on TD.
  17. Wait a minute, that was way back when I was a little green tenderfoot and didn't realize the responsibilities that come hand in hand with being a moderator. I thought better of my rash actions several months ago ... will you never let me live it down? Anyway, North is Canadian and therefore wears winter boots at all times (the average high during a Twins game in July in his area is in the twenties - even ask), so his feet are protected from the heat the rest of us invariably experience while sauntering about this active lava field known as Twins Daily.
  18. Obviously, if Sano can succeed in the role which has been so incongruously thrust upon him, he'll be qualified in every capacity for any profession he chooses to take up.
  19. Rezzy, as a sophomore on TD, I have one bit of advice to offer you: don't listen to ChiTown; by all means jump in, but leave your feet behind. I've discovered that the toes can be sensitive to the heated discussions that occasionally erupt in here, spewing hot lava and ash in all directions.
  20. Nah, I was thinking maybe it's Trevor May. He wouldn't have much incentive to be overly ecstatic to see us all.
  21. Our success equates to that of Gibson, Hughes, Milone, and May's: (Except me, of course, who simply deigned to offer any effort on my part, preferring to be an unnoticed individual in the background rather than the panting subject in the front.) That said, good to see ya, Sample! It's been a long time.
  22. I wondered if you'd let me get away with that.
  23. Nolan Ryan's arm + stamina, I guess. Though I don't know if they generally chalk up the latter as a "tool" ...
