    Unless im reading the box score wrong Hu Had 105 pitches in six innings. I like that he is building his arm up but that seems like a lot

    Interesting approach by Walker. I wish there was some first hand accounts out there. Was he just putting the bat on his shoulder? Or was he being selective? Whatever it was I hope he can keep it up.

    Ive been looking forward to this article like this for awhile. Thanks for giving some insight on Jorge and Gonsalves. Its really enjoyable to read the coaching staff’s thoughts on these young guys. Jorge was really hyped up last year so I am pleased to see him bounce back. Hopefully that will make him a better prospect. Great post!

    Yeah the Burdi hyped relegated Jones to a set up man/afterthought. But Burdi's poor control put Jones back in the 9th and he is performing. Hope he can stay healthy

    Patience! The average age of a player in the Southern League is 24 years old, average age of a Southern League pitcher is 24 1/2 years old. Buxton is 21 Polanco is 21 Sano is 21 Kepler is 22 Harrison is 22 There is lots of rust to work off from the injured of last year and the younger guys have to adjust to the better pitching. Maybe Twins prospects will never get a hit again and Twins fans will begin planning for the apocalypse. But patience is warranted before we start filling the bathtubs full of water.

    Chattanooga seems to be a crummy organization. Their video barley exists and when it does its worse than anything a high schooler can do. Worse they didnt even take proper pictures of the players. On the website they either have Rock Cat hats or Miracle caps. Twins should be embarrassed.

    Its hard to not be disappointed by the offense at Chattanooga. But both Buxton and Sano have rust on them and are young for the level so patience is needed. But f they are still struggling in July it will be time to panic. Harrison is looking pretty good though.

    Its almost a certainty that Pelfrey is not on next years team. So move him back to the bullpen and move on.

    Thats an easy bet. The vast majority of pitching prospects dont make it. But unless folks are telling stories he has the pitches to make it.

    Why cant Stewart get strike outs? From reports he has swing and miss stuff but his strike out rates continue to lag.

    All of that is true. But I was hoping he would have some success before being sent to AA. Kepler has been riding the "too bad he is injured" excuse for too long. Its time for him to start being the uberprospect we thought he could be or the FO will have to make a decision and remove him from the 40 man this offseason.

    Walker has 16 strike outs to 1 BB. He has gaudy power numbers but damn it...those strike outs keep making me doubt his MLB potential

    This is the most Twinsesque phrase ever. What does "responsible pace" really mean? My guess is nothing. But I wouldn't be surprised to see it emblazoned on the office walls.

    Every year I get excited about a pitcher and think he could be fast tracked to the majors. Then he hits AA and doesnt dominate as I expected. Burdi is the latest example. When will I learn...

    Growing up we had some MN Viking come to our school for something similar. I am sure he found it awkward and weird just like you did but as a kid we loved it. I still remember shaking that mans huge hand!!! Nice work

    They didn't have a video crew at CR until this year? My goodness. My nephew's travel team had video at least 2 years ago. Maybe if the Twins stopped using CR as their nepotistic fiefdom they could actually be innovators instead of skeptical followers.

    Arcia was "swinging at everything" in the minors why was this not addressed down there?

    The team stinks but everyone predicted them to be bad. So stay the course and don't panic. Make sure the young kids improve. Make sure the team improves defensively. Hope you trade some veterans in June and July. Evaluate the youngsters in Aug and Sept. Its a bad team. Enjoy your summer enjoy beautiful, target field and hope for a better 2016.
