    I hear you 100%. You'd think in 2015 they could simply program in whichever uniform a team is wearing for that given game. But, i digress, it's a minor detail not important to the task at hand!

    The pessimist in me keeps looking at the calendar and saying "Its only May." But then another voice says, "Yeah but it's the end of May. Santana is suspended. Hughes hasn't been the Hughes of 2014. Fair share of injuries. And they are only a game out of FIRST! Ahead of the Tigers!" Well said, John, let's enjoy it and not overthink/overstress about it.

    With Buxton arriving eventually, and with the opportunity to see if Hicks has made the adjustments availible, I'd say now is the time. I also agree with those that have pointed out that we can't assume Hicks wouldnt be productive in LF or RF due to power issues. I remember an episode of Gleeman & the Geek where they talked about a time where the Twins had too many CF and they had to play guys in corner OF spots just to get them playing time. Defensively, I don't see how Hicks in RF/LF would be a bad thing.

    Per MLB trade rumors....."USA Today’s Bob Nightengale (via Twitter) and others have already speculated about the possibility that Craig Counsell, who has worked with the Brewers front office since retiring as a player, could be Roenicke’s replacement. There’s also been speculation about former Twins manager Ron Gardenhire, although SB Nation’s Chris Cotillo tweets that Gardenhire will not be replacing Roenicke."

    Many on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel site are suggesting former Brewer/Marlin/Diamondback infielder Craig Counsell will be interim manager. They kept the rest of the coaching staff, which doesn't seem to indicate they will make a permenent hire tomorrow.

    Living in Chicago, I always look forward to Twins v White Sox because I get to watch the games on TV. Probably the 4 most enjoyable games I've watched in quite a while. Hoping this positive stretch can continue!

    With Santana struggling as much as he is both at the plate and at SS, and with little to no production in CF, any chance they return Santana to CF? He had a really nice run there last season. I really like the way Mauer is swinging the bat as of late. He's the 2015 version of Fear the Beard, hopefully!

    Most little league coaches would have yanked a player for that play. Not only for the low level of effort in getting into position, but the lack of fundamentals used to attempt the catch. A high school mamager would have for sure. I was among the many that was crossing my fingers and hoping that Arcia's shortcomings as a fielder could be overlooked by his bat. At this rate, I'm not sure the Twins can afford it........

    I liked the signing at the time but in the back of my mind would have preferred McCarthy. Now I really prefer McCarthy. The whole thing is just a bummer. What bothers me the most is, faced with this situation, knowing internally that this isn't "the year", why not bring up May and let him build up MLB innings? Unless this is a case of building up Millone and Pelfrey to flip them in July...

    Happy 2015 to the Twins Daily moderators and all of the commenters. I'm looking forward to the new year both from a Twins perspective and a personal one. 2014 wasn't a very good year for me but reading Twins news and interacting with fellow Twins fans was a great help and I look forward to more in the coming year! Go Twins and long live Twins Daily!

    Why do I get the feeling that Joe Morgan voted for nobody because he wasnt on the ballot? The way he talks, he should be the only one in the Hall of Fame.
