    The signs for today are not pointing up, at least prior to game time. Maybe this will all play out a lot better than I'm anticipating it will. Time will tell.

    Can't argue with that thought. Plus, it is quite unfortunate for both parties.

    No. I've felt that way for quite a while. Due mostly to generally poor hitting on a game to game basis, combined with a rash of injuries to the pitching staff, mediocre defense (apart from Correa and Buxton), poor situational awareness, and oftentimes poor baseball fundamentals. An occasional win or a decent effort in a loss isn't enough to change my viewpoint right now.

    Right now, we're nothing more than a glorified AAA team, sad to say.

    Problem is that, except for their best prospects, most of our players are either untradeable or undesirable to most other teams, meaning we wouldn't get much for them.

    You really think that the Pohlads would accept that course of action? I don't.

    They've been kidnapped and are being held for ransom. The Pohlads have decided not to pay the ransom.

    I suspect that it's probably a lot more psychological than physical at this stage. However, I think that it's become so deeply ingrained for so long that it's going to take quite awhile to fully purge all this from everyone's system. And I doubt that that will happen anytime this season.
