  1. We need to find out what's going on with him, because something clearly is.
  2. I guess he isn't. But still not a stellar start, no matter how it ends. Maybe he should have been replaced.
  3. Ober out after 5. Yet another less than stellar start. Sigh.
  4. But he's a lefty, which means to us that he's the second coming of Cy Young.
  5. Gee, I wonder where that thought originated. 🤣
  6. His velocity has been down noticeably since last season. I don't have any numbers, but I'd be surprised if someone out here doesn't.
  7. He's been quite hittable so far this season, along with decreased velocity. That needs to change and the sooner the better.
  8. Well, Lewis got on base without an out occurring, so I guess that's a positive sign.
  9. And that we're completely helpless against him is even more irritating.
  10. Wow, it's hard to fathom just how horrid our right-handed hitting really is. We have an uncanny ability to make any average lefty Joe look like a Cy Young candidate, just like tonight. Makes you wonder why most teams don't start lefties against us more often.
  11. Just saw something on this the other day. The team record is something north of 40 at-bats, but I don't remember who it was that accomplished that feat.
  12. He needs a lot more help than Carew can provide.
  13. I guess we got the bad Pablo, again. Been seeing it far too often lately.
  14. There's the first two non-clutch at-bats with a runner in scoring position. I wonder how many more we'll have tonight with our mostly inept right-handed hitting.
  15. 25 pitches in the 1st inning, with a walk and at least 3 well hit balls, does not constitute what I would call a good start.
