  1. Well, that lead didn't last long, to the surprise of no one. Sigh.
  2. Therein lies the problem. We have very few players capable of getting on base with anything resembling a degree of consistency.
  3. I'd rather fire the owners first and then the front office. Won't happen, but it's a lot better to think about than the hot mess of a team we're dealing with now.
  4. Well, that theory definitely didn't work today. Pretty much as I expected to be the case.
  5. It's hard to get very enthused when the team you're broadcasting keeps showing the incredible level of incompetence that this team shows on a regular basis.
  6. This team is starting to make the '62 Mets look competent, which is saying something. Plus, that Mets team was at least lovable. There is nothing lovable about the incompetent mess that the 2025 Twins are.
  7. When you're as helpless as the kid in a baby carriage, those kind of things tend to happen and keep happening.
  8. Yet another in a long string of feeble at bats by TC. I'd be surprised if we're not shut out today.
  9. Any lefty against us is a recreation of Cy Young himself.
  10. Everyone trying to do too much usually means that no one is doing enough, which doesn't bode well for a successful season.
  11. Looks like the clutch hitting is taking the game off. Again! Sigh.
  12. Back to a lot of the same garbage we've seen lately from this team. AARGH!
  13. And we have an offense more prone to turnovers and/or kicking field goals.
  14. "Hopefully" being the key term. Unfortunately, I'm not very hopeful of them finding a way to win today.
  15. Holding down the far end of the bench is the only reason I can see.
  16. At the rate this is going, by the end of the season, we'll be giving the ChiSox a run for last place in the AL Central. Sad to say.
  17. Unfortunately, it's been more years than I can remember since we've had anything resembling a hitting pipeline. Whether the current crop of minor leaguers pans out remains to be seen. That's just as big as problem.
