I don't disagree with your point. However, maybe we need some relievers who can strike batters out, especially with a defense as atrociously bad as this one has become.

I've been thinking that same thought for years.

They failed! Again! Big surprise there.
  4. IndyTwinsFan
    Guess I was wrong. Thankfully!
  5. IndyTwinsFan
    That's better!

Gonna blow this bases loaded situation. I can see it already.

As have most of our other starters in the recent past. Kinda disheartening.
  8. IndyTwinsFan
And it's not a welcome return.
  9. IndyTwinsFan
Interesting thought, but I wouldn't bet on it happening any time in the foreseeable future.

Length of the outing is questionable. However, the quality, as has been the case most recent times with Perez, left a while lot to be desired. Could see that kind of outing coming a mile away.

Very good point! Table-setters are every bit as important as those who clear the table.

I wonder what the estimated distance was on that moonshot. Had to be at least in the neighborhood of 450.

Turns out it was a game-winning Bomba!
  14. IndyTwinsFan
Sadly, an unfortunate consequence of modern day major league baseball.
  15. IndyTwinsFan
I hope so, because trades are obviously no longer an option this year.

The longer this goes, the more nervous I get. It has nothing to do with how shaky the Braves bullpen is. It has everything to do with how shaky our bullpen (and defense) is.
  17. IndyTwinsFan
I wonder if the Twins brain trust thinks either of them are close enough to ready to give either one the opportunity.
  18. IndyTwinsFan
That wasn't even close to a strike. Nice call, ump. NOT.
  19. IndyTwinsFan
    I'd be okay with that!

And, until Buck gets back, which AA or AAA outfielder replaces him? Or do we go with another pitcher?
  21. IndyTwinsFan
Well, that was a miserable failure. AARGH!
  22. IndyTwinsFan
    WHEW!
  23. IndyTwinsFan
I'm getting some ugly flashbacks to last night. Let's not go there, please!

Someone clone Cruz before it's too late. WOW!

I know my mom would probably agree with that statement. Personally, I can't comment because I've lived in Indiana for nearly 28 years.
