It seems like the ones with mediocre stats seem to be the ones looking like potential Cy Young pitchers when throwing against us.

And the crowd is booing. I probably would have too if I was there.

Maybe partially. My take is that when opposing pitchers know a team is scuffling at the plate, they tend to get more aggressive and take more chances with their pitch selection and location than they might otherwise be or do. It's also far from the first time we experienced this situation.

It would be more tolerable if it wasn't almost everyone going cold at the same time.

This weak ground ball and strikeout offense is getting more than a little stale. It's also not scoring many runs, either.

The way things have been going lately, I'm not betting on it. That being said, I hope I'm completely wrong on that thought.

I've nearly reached a point where I can almost foresee our complete squandering of legitimate scoring opportunities. That state of events needs to change if we expect to win the division and do anything positive in the playoffs.

There's at least one in Indianapolis that I know of. Went there earlier this year, but didn't have any chicken. Nothing special.

Now let's see if we can do this again tomorrow night, with less drama! Fingers crossed. If I had any clover in my yard, I'd also look for a 4-leafed one.
