  1. With numbers like his, that's probably the safest place for him now.
  2. And gave up another run, due in part to his continued inability to find the strike zone with something resembling a quality pitch.
  3. I think it would be pretty hard to say that today. Seemingly, in the last month or so, he's been unraveling right before our eyes.
  4. I don't necessarily disagree. However, the potential "haul" gets smaller with each outing that goes like the recent ones, including this one.
  5. A little surprised Gray is back out there again.
  6. I'm guessing not a lot. What contender really wants a guy who can go 4 or 5 innings and then completely fall apart at the blink of an eye? Only a team that's extremely desperate, IMO.
  7. I'm guessing he doesn't come out for the 6th, and it's largely his own fault.
  8. Sonny sure found a great time to go to pieces. NOT. Hope he can get out of this with no more damage.
  9. With regards to the late (and sometimes great) musical artist Meatloaf.
  10. UGH! Second straight start that was well short of stellar, both against a bottom-feeder team. I sure hope we can find a way to win this one.
  11. An offshoot of the word "where", in German. As in, Where is Julien?, etc.
  12. Due in large part to a ton of poor quality at-bats and a general lack of clutch hitting. When have we seen and heard that before, especially this season?
  13. Falvey and Levine seem to have found a way.
  14. Runner in scoring position and less than 2 outs. And we again found a way to not score. Big surprise there. NOT!
  15. FYI, Gallo wasn't the one ejected. I think Popkins was.
  16. To no one's surprise. It's like the front office doesn't care or has their blinders on so tight that they're incapable of seeing anything. Very frustrating.
  17. Already up to 10 Ks in 7 innings, with more likely to come. All against a staff with an ERA over 6.00. Pathetic!
