    If they don't do some significant alterations to this roster during the ASG break, apart from reactivating Polanco, I am going to be extremely disappointed in this front office. Primarily because, in my mind, they're giving the indication to the fan base and the players themselves that they just don't care enough to even try to improve the roster. IMO, that's pretty sad, to say the least. There, now I feel a bit better.

    This fiasco kind of makes me glad that I've been preoccupied with other things this afternoon. Therefore, I hadn't seen or heard anything on this mess of a game until just a few minutes ago. I definitely won't be watching the rest of it today.

    If Gallo is gone, maybe that would help answer the question. However, I'm not convinced the front office is too keen on doing that quite yet.

    I can, too. Miranda clearly still needs some work at the plate and Wallner clearly deserves an extended opportunity.

    Seeing Farmer at 3rd today, it makes me wonder if there will be some roster moves coming during the break. Miranda comes clearly to mind, even with Royce being out another month or so, and one or two others are a definite possibility. Plus the return of some now on the IL to boot. Maybe tweak some things before the trade deadline to see how it all plays out before any trade/non-trade decisions are made??

    Supposedly, the strike box that home plate umpires are rated on each game is slightly larger than the strike box that is superimposed on the televised games. Exactly how much, I'm not sure, but it's definitely the case (or so I've heard).

    With any luck, he's not an option for tomorrow. However, with Rocco making the in-game decisions, one never knows for sure.

    Circumstances change. As we all know, Pagan in a tight game is nerve-wracking. Pagan with a 5 run lead, much less so.
